Hey Fat Jack, Been watching this thread for a while, really impressive what you are doing. Anyway I am not a tash grower I get icky skin from it for some reason, but I generally rock a goatie, would the little tash brush be much use for keeping my hairs in line or am I cool with just some wax to keep it in order... any advice is muchly appreciated, will be placing an order sharpish. Ta

It doesnt exist at the moment, I have been keeping my eye out for a wee moped, tomos, puch, camino but most of them seem to be across the water and not in Northern Ireland. So I just wanted an idea of how to get one home if I bought from say... evilBay

Hi guys, So I've bought a few cars from the mainland and had them picked up and transported back to northern Ireland before, but what is the cheapest or at least the easiest way to do this with a moped that does not involve me going and collecting it my self? Ta, Chris

Sorry for the slow reply, currently in Spain, in a diy shop borrowing WiFi lol. AW man I think I would get killed if I got another shed, I've got 3 garages, a shed and half a barn...

As seen as a pedal and pop comes along and is on the road the rally will be out the door so I will indeed keep you in mind, unfortunitly there is not enough space to keep both and the beetle plus the mass of vw spares in the garage never mind the other projects I need a bigger garage lol.

I will just have to keep my eyes pealed, if you spy a cheap and cheerful N anywhere let me know. The bugs a 1968 1200, with a golde steel sliding sunroof and a 1600 engine, lowered of course, photos don't really show just how low it is. All restored myself in a little single garage. My Aprilia is a wee A/C Rally 50. Goes like a champ, hits speed bumps with ease, not as pretty as an SR or an RS but again it was cheap, 100 quid delivered to my door, all it needed to get running was the carb cleaned and its been in daily service for about 3 years now.

Portadown, no way! Maybe have to have a wee meet someday. I am pretty set on it being japanese so the jialing jobbie is out the window, had mate who sold one a few weeks ago with only 4-5mile on the clock. Though a Puch N would be awesome as well. Thanks for the offer on the pug, I am running round on a wee Aprilia at the moment but just have a hankering for something old and smokey. Will maybe save up some pennies and throw a proper wanted add up and see what comes off it. Oh and as promised at the start of the thread, Rubee my beetle.

Hey forde, I never realised you were from these part of the woods. I am in lurgan, so not to far away. I am in no grear rush for a pedal and pop but would really like on our at least on old scorer (possibly a melody) to do my massive half mile each way commute just the curiosity of it being a Yamaha killed me. His asking price of 300 was wild, I offered him 100 but he said he wouldn't seek for less than 200 lol. No sale.

Think I need to go see the damn thing and have a good poke. Problem is these pedal and pop toys are few and far between over here in Northern Ireland. You guys get so much more choice and travelling to get one across the water isn't worth it. Will report back if I go for a peak.

That may be the answer, I was hoping someone on here would know. Anyone still think it's worth a punt even if it's now a camino? The guy selling doesn't have a tax book, Or is it a bit of a gamble. It will end up modified either way but don't fancy any grief getting paper work.

It doesn't seem to be a qt50 at all. No shaft drive on this thing either. I even counted the slats in the horn grill and they were the same as the Honda... Stumped

That's what has me confused. Only difference I can spot is the tail light and then the Yamaha on the transmission. Got me thinking. Not many of these things over here and it's pretty far away so thought I'd try and research it before jumping the gun.

Ok so I have been a lurker on this forum for ages. I love seeing what you guys get up to, buy being a VW Beetle guy I generally end up on vzi or nboc...Northern beetle owners club based in Northern Ireland where I live. Anyway I bought a scooter a few years ago and it has served me well but now fancy something a bit more old school for my commute. You guys love your puch' but I was hankering after an old Honda... queue my want for a Honda Camino. Browsing Gumtree I spot what looks to be a Camino, but it is advertised as a Yamaha and indeed it has Yamaha on the transmission but it looks like a Honda is anyone able to tell me what model it is? Sorry for making the first post a question I will make it worth your while by posting some pictures of my bug tomorrow! (Photo on page 2)
