T bird was solid as a rock, no rust!
It had no U.K ID though, guy I bought it from had it stolen from his drive before he registered it.
After a while he binned all the paperwork only for the police to find the car and return it minus a few parts.
Without the paperwork it would have got a Q plate...

Regular bolts are not made this way, I make plastic injection mould tools at work and the equipment comes in handy! Not sure what the rocker covers are painted with, some kind of crackle black stuff. Been to look at the car this morning and it's all in primer and guide coat, no idea when it's coming back though

New 'old' tax disc Took the bonnet hinges apart Machined out hinge pin holes and tidied the a bit Back from chroming Now I needed new hinge pins so went to work at the weekend for a fiddle Made an electrode to spark a hexagon in and polished the pin up On spark eroder All assembled with some copper grease I've been tidying up the front cross member but have no pics as there's not much to see!

Check this vid 18 seconds in, shows some heat shielding under the inlet manifolds.
Sounds pretty cool too!

Swaymar Holley conversion was the single best mod I did to my 3.0 S back in the day.
Well worth trying to track one down, made plenty more power and did more MPG!

Great job on a rolling resto, must be easier to keep motivated if you can drive it in between jobs and listen to the V8

I used to work in a mechanical workshop at a hospital, the wheels and the large yellow angle bits had been under a bench for years. They were left over from a gamma camera so I managed to get them for free Chopped them in half and welded some box section steel to them to make the dolly wheels.

Ingenious! Just checked out the Kdfi, looks like great value for money, especially as it has direct USB connection.
