Dealer options; Bumper over riders, wheel discs. EXTERIORThis beautiful Morris Mini Minor, a genuine factory built Convertible with correct ‘MAT’ prefix identification number and finished in the original colour of Pearl Grey. The paintwork boasts a lovely uniform polished shine and pleasing finish with only minor blemishes and markings visible. A light application only of underside treatment allows easy inspection of the excellent structural integrity. The extensive chromework has a mirror finish and all further trims sections and rubbers are superb. The Factory Triplex safety glass is still fitted. The hood in Maroon with matching tonneau is in fabulous condition. A new tonneau is also included. A charming example of this quintessentially English countryside open tourer. INTERIORThe upholstery trim in the correct Red is a wonderful compliment to the exterior colour scheme and has a lovely sense of basic no frills motoring, a bygone notion in today’s modern equivalents! The matching door cards and carpeting are in superb order. Original fitments such as the three spoke 16½ inch Bakerlite steering wheel with Morris badged horn push and correct bronze three lamp speedometer are completely intact. The instrument warning lights and gauges function perfectly, and the original pull switches are fully operational and exactly as Morris intended. An iconic motoring delight, perfect for whimsical open top drives. ENGINE & TRANSMISSIONThis matching numbers example still has the factory fitted A-Series four-cylinder engine with a cubic capacity of 948cc and 37bhp at 4750rpm. The engine fires instantly on the starter pull and has that delightful Morris Minor hum! The engine number tag and factory plates remain fitted and easily legible to allow instant verification, as does the A-Series engine block which is the correct British Standard (381c) 223 Middle Bronze Green. The 4-speed gearbox has no synchromesh on first and reverse gears, as per factory fitment, so steady progress and familiarisation will be necessary. Thoroughly useable and ready for reliable classic motoring enjoyment! WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKESDisc-type steel wheels with optional chrome disc embellishers are beautifully finished in correct Pearl Grey. Brand new quality tyres of 155/80 R14 size have just been fitted and the spare is housed in the lower boot floor, still believed to be the original Avon cross ply item! Braking to all four wheels is hydraulically operated by a pendant pedal with front 8in and rear 7in drums, all recently stripped and overhauled to provide safe and steady braking. HISTORY FILEThis wonderful example was registered new on 30th May 1959 as a Morris Minor 1000 Convertible, as confirmed not only by the chassis number but also the original green buff log book which is still within the history file! The previous keeper, Mrs Joan Rorison, is noted on the buff log book as purchasing the vehicle in 1971 and it has remained in her care ever since. The brilliant history file holds a comprehensive collection of documents including MOT certificates dating back to 1972 along with many invoices and receipts. A documented full restoration carried out in 2000 by Bob Atkins’ Morris Minor Services outlines the extensive work undertaken at considerable cost. The no expense spared work was embarked on to bring the car back to its former glory for their Daughter’s wedding, just as it had been used for their wedding in 1971! Garage stored since the wedding, the car has been fully recommissioned and is ready for the next lucky custodian. This beautiful car is the epitome of British summer classic motoring, ready to use and sure delight any traditional classic enthusiast. MOT July 2018, Tax Exempt, HPI Clear. A perfect Big Turbo Ford Escort RS Cosworth Luxury with 25,414 miles. MODEL HISTORYThe Ford Escort RS Cosworth was a sports derivative and rally homologation special of the fifth generation Ford Escort. It was designed to qualify as a Group A car for the World Rally Championship. It was available as a road car from 1992-96 in limited numbers from Ford’s Specialist Vehicle Engineering, (SVE), group. It combines the hand-assembled engine expertise of Cosworth and the coach-building crafts of Karmann. In order to accommodate the larger Cosworth engine and transmission Ford developed the car around the chassis and mechanicals of its predecessor, the Sierra Cosworth. A very rare car with only 7,145 examples being produced with the first 2,500 units being Big Turbo Homologation cars such as this one. (Source Wikipedia, 1995 Edition One RS Brochure and the RS Owners Club). EQUIPMENTBody colour front bumper with black lower extension, front airdam, louvred bonnet air intakes, wing air extraction grilles, integral driving lights and fog lights, driver airbag, padded armrest with cassette storage, oil pressure gauge, turbo gauge, voltmeter, quartz digital clock with ambient temperature, electro-luminescent dials, Ford 2007 RDS radio/cassette. Luxury Model equipment: Electrically operated and heated door mirrors, ‘Quickclear’ heated windscreen, heated washer jets, Recaro seats with lumber support, map pockets, rear centre armrest, rear head restraints, electric sunroof, electric windows, carpeted door bins. Factory Options: Air conditioning, CD Player Model 2040. EXTERIORSpecified in the Escort Cosworth launch colour of Mallard Green, (Code 4 2), the finish is perfect. A flawless gloss shine will amaze onlookers with every factory standard component spotlessly clean. Exhibitionists will be thrilled at the detailed underside where every clip, nut and bolt sparkles and nothing has been altered from production. The colour-coded fuel filler cap and large door mirrors of early Big Turbo cars along with every inconceivable detail is correct. Supplying dealer number plates and rear window sticker remain attached. This low mileage Escort Cosworth is pure grade one collector quality. INTERIORThe interior of this desirable Escort RS Cosworth Luxury Edition is pristine and preserved exactly as Ford intended. The Recaro seats finished in Raven Leather are unmarked and in a condition only witnessed on very low mileage examples. A Ford immobiliser has been fitted from new and all gauges and dials function correctly. A new car experience is impossible to recreate but this example really is very close in every respect. Amazing. ENGINE & TRANSMISSIONLifting the bonnet will delight perfectionists and scrutineers who will discover a clean factory new spectacle. The powerful and well proven Cosworth 2.0 litre 16v turbocharged YBT engine features the larger Garrett T3/T04B turbocharger with a two-stage water/air and air/air intercooler together with an electronically regulated over-boost facility. Being an earlycar it is also fitted with the desirable Weber-Marelli fuelling and ignition system. The blue painted cam cover denotes a number of significant changes over the older YBG unit of the Sierra RS Cosworth and power is quoted at 225bhp with 0-60 in 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 140mph. The permanent Ferguson four wheel drive system with 34/66% front/rear power split mated to a MT 75 5-speed gearbox is light and direct. WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKESGenuine Ford RS 8 X 16” five soft-spoke alloy wheels built by Ronal are pristine and still shod in the correct Pirelli P Zero tyres which were specially developed for the Escort RS Cosworth. The tyres are perfectly preserved due to expert professional storage. Electrically-controlled ABS anti-lock system with two microprocessors and ventilated front and rear discs offer immense stopping power. HISTORY FILEThis desirable Big Turbo Ford Escort RS Cosworth was built in January 1994 at the Rheine Assembly Plant in Germany and registered new on the 25th April 1994. Supplied by Ford Main Dealer, Rates of Grays to Doctor Peter Gill, this vehicle has only had two former keepers. The second owner, Martin Greene, purchased the car through Ford Main dealers, Bristol Street of Cheltenham Ltd for £21,819 as the purchase invoice reveals. Now forming part of the Anthony Manning Ford Collection for five years this example has led a very privilege existence with professional care, expert storage and in the hands of a passionate individual with unrivalled knowledge on the Ford marque. Owning two other sub 10,000 mile examples the difficult decision to part with this car was made. A warranted mileage of 25,414 is verified with invoices and MOT certificates. All keys, including the red master with original supplying dealer key fobs are present. All Ford handbooks are supplied within the blue A5 folder. KGF Classic Cars are proud to be associated with this spectacular example and seek an appreciative custodian wanting an immaculateness rarely found. MOT June 2018, HPI Clear. 1990 Saab 900S 16V by KGF Classic Cars, on Flickr SOLD / 01733 425140 / 07976 935046 / sales@kgfclassiccars.co.uk
Thinking of selling? Alternatively If you’d like to move your vehicle on quickly and efficiently with minimal delay then we can make an offer on an outright purchase basis with payment and collection arranged soon after.
An innovative Saab 900S 16V with only 65,727 miles and two keepers.EQUIPMENTPanoramic laminated windscreen, tinted windows, halogen headlamps, headlamp wipers, impact absorbing bumpers, side mouldings, rear rubberised spoiler, front spoiler, centralised brake light, electric door mirrors, centralised locking, electric front windows, transmission lock, power assisted steering, tachometer, automatic electrically heated front seats, Philips PLL Quartz Tuning 550 stereo. Factory options; Metallic paintwork. Dealer accessories; Saab tailored floor mats, Saab Scania car wash/wax, Saab Scania screen wash. EXTERIORThis pioneering and distinctive Saab 900S is finished in original and factory optional Iridium Silver Metallic, (Code 220). The paintwork is remarkably well preserved with a bright uniform shine and smooth polished finish from the quality factory coating. Minor age related markings are visible upon scrutiny and specifically worthy of mention is a shallow undulation to the nearside front wing and a treated blemish to the bonnet. Typical Saab characteristics such as the large safety impact bumpers and wraparound panoramic windscreen are in excellent order, and all glass pieces are factory fitted with Saab etchings. All other trims sections are excellent and original supplying Saab dealer number plates and rear screen sticker remain fitted. A beautiful example of the Saab 900S, arguably considered one of the last revolutionary and quality vehicles designed by the Swedish firm prior to GM involvement. INTERIORThe manufacturers primary focus being safety and comfort is immediately evident as you access the cabin through huge wide-opening doors and sink into the sumptuous and incredibly comfortable seats. The spotless Horizon velour upholstery in Marine, (Code F44), is in exceptional order with no damage and virtually no wear, commensurate of a car having covered just 65,727 miles under enthusiast long term ownership. All functions and controls operate perfectly including the Philips PLL Quartz Tuning 550 stereo, and the switch gear and trims sections are pristine. The headlining is as new having been subject to an expensive re-trim in 2017. Quirky SAAB features such as the reverse transmission lock and thermostatically controlled heated seats remind you of the maker’s vision for innovation and lateral thinking. Enormously comfortable and preserved to an outstanding level. ENGINE & TRANSMISSIONFitted with the in-line four-cylinder non-catalytic engine of 1985cc displacement, the power output is quoted at 133bhp at 6000rpm and 173Nm at 3000rpm. The engine performs impeccably having been fastidiously maintained from new, and the engine compartment is beautifully clean with factory stickers, plates and identification tags present and clearly visible. The five-speed manual M5N gearbox is solid, precise and typically well engineered. WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKESFactory fitted 5½J x 15 light alloy wheels are un-refurbished and remain in excellent order with only faint scratches. Quality brand 185/60 R15 tyres have good tread levels and the original compact spare is housed in the clean boot area complete with jack and wheel brace. The boot area even holds the Saab Scania wax treatment and screen washer bottles, and the factory paint and trim code sticker is displayed. The power assisted braking system incorporates 280mm front and 258mm rear discs to offer very capable stopping power. HISTORY FILERegistered new on 10th August 1990 by SAAB Main Dealer, Crightons’ of Peterborough, this example has covered a fully verified 65,727 miles from new with only one former keeper. The first keeper, Mrs Anne Mosser, owned the vehicle until April 1993 when at less than three years old it returned to Crightons’ of Peterborough to be sold as an Approved Used Saab to the second long term and only keeper since, Mr John Clements. The history file is fantastic with devoted and fastidious servicing evident throughout. The original Saab service book displays no less than 26 stamped entries with the supplying dealer up to 2002 and specialist thereafter, the most recent entry in June 2017. KGF Classic Cars Operations Manager clearly remembers the car having worked for Crightons’ as a teenager many years ago! The original Saab leather folder also contains all handbooks, guides, radio instructions and even the Salesman and staff member business cards. A folder of invoices and previous MOT certificates completes the history file along with a new car sales brochure and Saab Service Club membership literature. This low mileage, original and unmolested example is simply unmissable for the ardent Saab Connoisseur. MOT June 2018, HPI Clear. 1959 Austin Seven Basic Mini Saloon by KGF Classic Cars, on Flickr SOLD / 01733 425140 / 07976 935046 / sales@kgfclassiccars.co.uk / Peterborough

A splendid Austin Seven Basic Mini Saloon in show condition EQUIPMENTAll steel unitary construction, double-dip headlamps with foot operated dip switch, hinged rear number plate, sliding windows, one sun visor, floor mounted starter switch, central instrument dial, oil pressure warning lamp, drivers seat adjustable, wide door pockets, flashing indicator stalk, fresh air heater, front ashtray. EXTERIORThis stunning very early Austin Mini is finished in hard wearing Farina Grey, (Code GR11), and is virtually flawless with an impressive glossy shine. Being the Basic model no bright inserts are found in the window rubbers and correct features such as the body colour petrol filler cap and rear number plate lamp in black remain fitted. Considered by some as running prototypes the early production models had distinguishing features such as the non-recessed glass apertures and flat sills. These cars were 50kg lighter than the standard production car. The wavy chrome grill and correct boot script are in excellent order. Wheel arch apertures are incredibly clean and the underside is body coloured. Cuteness in abundance! INTERIORBeing the Basic model the seats are finished hard wearing Grey Woven Cloth that have been meticulously recreated by Hunters of Brora Ltd and look absolutely fabulous. The cream Austin speedo is beautifully preserved and sits fully functional on the painted board dash lining. Unique features are still fitted such as the flat switch panel, centre hinged sun visor and the rear view mirror with a long slender stem and pinch bracket to hold the glass finished in crackle black. Thick pile grey carpeting and matching woven cloth door cards have been professionally tailored and replace the rubber mats. The floor mounted starter button remains in situ. Simply divine. ENGINE & TRANSMISSIONA water cooled, overhead-valve four-cylinder engine mounted transversely has a cubic capacity of 848cc and produces 34bhp. The engine is whisper quiet and is still the factory supplied unit with matching numbers. Early production car features such as the metal oil filler cap and metal filler caps for the master cylinders are still fitted. The correct DR2 wiper motor and heater take off tap accessed from the engine bay on top of the head is fitted. The cylinder head has been converted to run on unleaded. The engine bay has been detailed for bonnet-up showing and creating a ‘wow’ factor The original 4-speed gearbox works well and is operated via the correct straight gear stick as fitted only to early cars. WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKESPristine JBW Minilight alloy wheels with new Falken 145/80 R10 tyres have been fitted. Braking to all four wheels is hydraulically operated by a pendant pedal with two leading shoes at the front. The handbrake lever is the correct type with the chrome button. HISTORY FILEBuilt on the 18th November 1959 this example is one of the most iconic of all the Minis as it was built within the first three months of the public launch date of the 26th August 1959 as confirmed by the Heritage Motor Centre. These early built cars possess a uniqueness with individual build differences before full scale production, standardisation and the ‘facelift’ in October 1960. With only three owners from new this example has a fascinating history all catalogued in the history file. The first owner enjoyed the car for six years before a Mr Mucklejohn purchased the car for his son, Ian, in 1965. Only used by Ian for two years before being hit head-on by a Ford Cortina. Fortunately Ian suffered only minor injuries and even kept the newspaper extract dated the 10th February 1967 where the Cortina driver was fined £10 with a licence endorsement! A Front End number of FE68802 confirms dating of August 1960 to the body after the repairs. While the vehicle was being repaired Ian purchased a Hillman Imp which he preferred to drive so once the Mini was returned it lay idle and unused. In 1999 after 32 years of being off the road Ian decided to have the vehicle restored to ‘as new’ condition with an invoice presented for the privilege of £14,726.90. After 50 years of ownership KGF Classic Cars were delighted to sell the car to the third keeper, Mr Robin Guest who has now decided to sell in order to concentrate on his primary passion, motorcycles. A history file comprising of wonderful period artefacts including letters, photos and period literature are included along with a certificate from the 1959 Mini Register & Mini Magazine identifying this example as a surviving 1959 Mini and thus formed part of the Mini 50th anniversary celebrations. Our proven commission sale or SOR (Sale or Return) program is a great way to utilise and access our professional services and facilities while still maximising the return from your vehicle with minimal hassle, stress and time, If you’d like to take advantage of this then please get in touch for further information. Alternatively If you’d like to move your vehicle on quickly and efficiently with minimal delay then we can make an offer on an outright purchase basis with payment and collection arranged soon after.
Possibly the most cosseted Rover Montego 1.6LX ever with just 48,365 miles.EQUIPMENTLaminated windscreen, bronze tinted glass, body coloured bumpers and front grille, side rubbing strip, locking fuel cap, halogen headlamps, electric front windows, central locking, electric tilt/slide sunroof, electric/demisting mirrors, heated rear window, digital clock, cigar lighter, courtesy lamps, Phillips R570 stereo cassette, tachometer, warning lamp system, coin tray, vanity mirror. Dealer options; Durable acrylic headlamp covers, Montego leather steering wheel, tailored Fabric mat set, first aid kit, mudflaps. EXTERIORThis outstanding Montego, owned from ten months old by the only private and utterly fanatical keeper is preserved to an incredible standard. The factory original paintwork in Flame Red, (Code COF), is simply exceptional with a deep glossy shine and polished finish with absolutely no fading. The virtually spotless factory panels are completely free from corrosion or damage, as is the underside having been protected from new with rust proofing treatment. The devoted long term keeper even routinely removed the inner door cards to apply additional wax to the door bottoms, despite the car being strictly garage stored and never ever used in the rain! This unmolested showpiece displays the supplying dealer number plates and the optional acrylic headlamp covers fitted from new. The trim sections are excellent aside from small hairline cracks to the C-pillar covers. Any Montego is now a rare survivor, this example is almost beyond comprehension! INTERIORA pristine, unaltered and period interior is sure to delight and amaze fans of Austin Rover cars. The original Zenith Cloth trim in Flint, (Code LCG), remains unworn with absolutely no damage whatsoever. The matching colour keyed door cards and headlining are superb, and the cut pile carpets are beautifully preserved having been protected by two sets of mats. All functions and controls operate perfectly and the dashboard and associated switchgear are as new. The fastidious owner even tailor made a cover for the dashboard and sheaths to place over the door lock buttons to protect them from the sun! The factory fitted Phillips R570 radio cassette remains fitted and operational. With a reputation for fragility, the exceptional interior of this cosseted Montego is a credit to its devoted owner. ENGINE & TRANSMISSIONThis Montego LX features the standard 1598cc OHC four cylinder engine with electronic carburettor control developing 86bhp at 5600rpm. With a top speed of 103mph and 0-60 covered in 11.2 seconds, this car feels lively and surprisingly refined. The engine bay is beautifully clean, unaltered and displays factory panel stampings, plates and even fragile stickers. The five speed transmission is light, smooth and effortless. WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKESThe standard 14in wheels wear the original and correct 1.6LX specification hubcaps in perfect order, un-badged as specified by Rover. The 185/65 R14 tyres have good tread remaining and the original Goodyear tyre remains fitted and unused to the spare wheel. The Austin Rover polystyrene circular insert holds the jack, wheel brace and hub cap puller. Diagonally split dual circuit brakes with servo assistance and front discs bring the car up straight and steady. HISTORY FILERegistered new by the Rover Group MCP Department as a company vehicle on the 20th June 1991, the first and only private keeper purchased the car when it was just ten months old on the 23rd April 1992. Rover Main Dealer, Henlys of Northampton, supplied the vehicle to Miss Zoe Waterfield after she specified particularly that she wanted a Flame Red Montego with electric windows, sunroof and central locking! The used vehicle invoice in the colossal history file illustrates the price paid of £6,500 and is accompanied by the Henlys pre-sale checklist and welcome letter. To say that Miss Waterfield is renowned and respected within the Austin-Rover community is a huge understatement, and her dedication to her beloved brand knows no limits with countless visits to Longbridge and even actively protesting the BMW takeover of Rover in January 1994. Her fanatical following even earned her rare and confidential items such as Top Secret ‘Introducing the Austin’ and Pocket Guides held by Austin Rover Sales staff only, all retained in the Henlys wallet alongside the original stamped service booklet, handbooks and dealership literature. Despite the low mileage of just 48,365 and the car being stored throughout each winter, the beautifully presented and chronological history folder is simply huge. Virtually every MOT certificate, invoice, receipt and even a journey log have been kept. Furthermore, there are articles, club membership literature, photographs and awards as well as three sets of keys including the grey master. An unmissable opportunity to acquire one of the best, unmolested and original Montego’s in existence. MOT June 2018, HPI Clear. Thinking of selling? Our proven commission sale or SOR (Sale or Return) program is a great way to utilise and access our professional services and facilities while still maximising the return from your vehicle with minimal hassle, stress and time, If you’d like to take advantage of this then please get in touch for further information. Alternatively If you’d like to move your vehicle on quickly and efficiently with minimal delay then we can make an offer on an outright purchase basis with payment and collection arranged soon after.
An early immaculate P38A Range Rover 4.0SE with 63,003 miles from new. EQUIPMENTPermanent 4-wheel drive, switchable automatic transmission, electronic air suspension with variable ride height, electric heated exterior mirrors, rear light guards, alarm, dual zone air conditioned climate control, AM/FM Stereo, cassette player, power locks, cruise control, speed warning, heated leather seats, power sunroof, tilt steering wheel, analogue clock, electric windows, ultrasonic alarm system, full-size driver and passenger airbags, upper and lower tailgate release, asymmetrically-split rear seats, folding rear parcel shelf, puddle lamps. EXTERIORFinished in stunning Biaritz Blue, (Code 965), this early phase one Range Rover has an almost faultless exterior with a rich, deep, glossy paint and helps demonstrate the pampered ownership this example has enjoyed from new. All the trim, glass, rubbers and lenses defy the 22 years of age and miniscule markings and one small ding will assure the sceptical believing this to be a fully restored car rather than an unmolested cherished classic. The original Dealer supplied number plates are still fitted as is the rear window sticker. The chassis and floors are structurally perfect still coated in the factory protection. One for the appreciative collector. INTERIORTo experience such a clean, well preserved and fully functioning interior such as this is a rare delight that will give all the occupants immediate assurance that this vehicle is the exception. The soft subtle light grey leather seats complement the unmarked burr walnut trim beautifully. All carpeting including the boot area has been protected by genuine Range Rover rubber mats from new and all door material is pristine. The original tools, jack and wheel brace are spotlessly clean in the boot area. All electrical equipment is operational with no warning lights. A sublime cockpit. ENGINE & TRANSMISSIONThe Rover 4.0-Litre V8 engine is beautifully refined giving a linear power delivery thanks to alloy heads, aluminium alloy block and multipoint fuel injection. With 190bhp and an impressive 236Nm of torque at just 3000rpm progress is spirited yet relaxed. The automatic transmission is incredibly smooth and controlled through the single lever ‘H’ gate case incorporating both the transmission and transfer case for ‘off-road’ control. WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKESOptional genuine Land Rover five spoke alloy wheels are unmarked and shod in Good Year 255/55 R18 tyres with ample grip. Four-channel all-terrain ABS power braking with disc brakes offer immense safe stopping power. HISTORY FILERegistered on the 23rd January 1995 this P38A Range Rover is an early phase one example and rolled off the production line just three months after the launch, making it highly sought after. Supplied by Roy Stratton Land Rover to the first of four former keepers a wonderful log of letters between them exists verifying the provenance of this iconic classic. Enjoyed solely by enthusiasts dedicated to the marque for long periods and each seeking the very best preserved example now proving difficult to find. Expenditure totalling thousands of pounds reveals the care this car has enjoyed. Supplied by KGF Classic Cars in February 2014 we were delighted to have this car back and look forward to meeting the next owner who will experience a factory correct and very rare early Range Rover P38. MOT June 2018. HPI Clear. Two sets of keys with working remotes on Roy Stratton leather key fobs. The condition of this unmolested and cherished Cavalier is entirely commensurate with the remarkably low 19,779 miles covered. INTERIORA clean, functional and period Vauxhall interior is sure to delight fans of the Griffin badged cars! The original Epsom Cloth trim in Grey, (Code 821), remains unworn with absolutely no damage whatsoever. The matching colour keyed door cards and headlining are pristine, and the fleece carpets are beautifully preserved. All functions and controls operate perfectly and the dashboard and associated switchgear are as new. Prominent natural veins to the steering wheel are an obvious trait of such a low mileage example. The immaculate boot floor has the factory insulating panels and the original polystyrene moulding holds the jack and wheel brace. The factory fitted Grundig SC303 radio cassette remains fitted and even has the usually lost small leather pouch for the detachable code display panel! A comfortable modern classic and just as it left the Vauxhall showroom in 1992. ENGINE & TRANSMISSIONThis Cavalier L features the 1598cc OHC four cylinder engine with Pieburg 2E3 twin barrel carburettor and automatic choke developing 82bhp at 5200rpm and 93lb/ft of torque at 3800rpm. Diagonally split dual circuit brakes with direct-action servo assistance feature 9.3in front discs and 7.9in rear drums to bring the car to a steady and assured halt. HISTORY FILERegistered new by Vauxhall Main Dealers WASS of Leeds on the 1st August 1992, this exceptional example has covered just 19,779 miles within the same family from new. First keeper, Mr Alderson, bought the car new and upon his passing in 1994 ownership transferred to his wife Muriel Alderson. Unable to part with her husband’s car, it was put into long term dry storage until being gifted in 2014 to her nephew, Mr Geoffrey Peacock. After recommissioning the car, Mr Peacock used it for dry weather outings, shows and occasional commuting. The devotion and enthusiasm shown to the car is clear to see and this cherished example truly deserves the accolade time warp. Recent maintenance work includes an oil service, brake overhaul and the original GM rear silencer has just been replaced with a brand new standard stock item. The original handbook and a collection of previous MOT certificates and invoices are in the history folder, and two sets of keys including the main torch key with dealer fob are included. This beautifully preserved and unmolested Cavalier is a credit to its former keepers and offers capable, practical and comfortable retro motoring, a guaranteed hit at shows. MOT June 2018, HPI Clear.
