That's a lovely example. Presume it's comfortable on the commute too.
What mpg is it getting, out of interest? I keep debating getting a 99 or 900 to toddle around in.

Looking good. Anyone who does the hairdresser routine clearly's never driven one ^ What he said. I also removed the plinth on my old one, though sadly that was forced - some git in a taxi reversed into me and broke it. On the plus side, the plinth is so huge it actually acts like a small crumple zone in low-speed crunches, so very little damage was done to the car! Glad to see the nasty chavvy steering wheel was junked.

Recently taken a liking to Felicias, partly because there are loads about and they're hilariously cheap at the moment. Rust issues aside they seem to last pretty well too. For a small-ish car they're quite well proportioned, particularly the Estates.

if its an import there is a good chance it has an lsd from the factory How effective it'll still be is a different matter though. Recall hearing that the 1.6 imports used a viscous LSD rather than torsen, and when it has a few miles under its belt it wears out and effectively becomes an open diff. Though I may be mis-remembering that factoid.

Nice. Out of interest, is it an import? Don't recall UK market MX-5s having that colour option. Unless it's had a respray at some point of course, but given the billions of imports an import is more likely.

Nice. Really like the saloons, would be my choice of Polo. Look forward to seeing how it progresses.

Hoping this one goes to a good home: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170898035151Obviously all campers are worth saving, but this one is certainly pretty rare - 1 in 5 - and has a fairly unique colour scheme that's worth preserving too. Would certainly be good to see it restored to full, electric health. Be a shame to see someone just chuck a flat four lump back in there and change the colour... Starting price is a bit steep, but most of the bodywork looks in decent nick.

Not seen one of these in yonks, and didn't expect it to look as tidy as this when I did! Quick look on howmanyleft suggests there are probably only a hundred or so on the road. I'd be surprised if it's even that many.

Everything about this is brilliant so far, particularly the colour. Don't think I've ever seen one on the road in that shade.

That high shot with the two MX-5s looks great. Probably the best angle for a K-G, especially with that roof rack!

Still looks awesome. And a bit lower in the very latest photos - perhaps it just needed to settle a little. Every time my old MX5 went up on a ramp it'd be like a 4x4 for the first ten minutes until the springs had settled.
Yellow indicators work well too. Wasn't sure they would at first but it really makes them stand out.

Used to own a white MX5 but Mariner Blue is quickly becoming my favourite colour for them having seen cars like this.

A little lower at the back would be perfect but dunno if it needs to be wider. If the bonnet was body colour it'd be perfect. What's the interior like?

I know it's not very retro (but not budget motoring either owing to the price), but this has been my daily driver for the past year and it's a great car. Selling it because I'm a convertible whore and miss my old MX5 so I'm buying another sports car... Stuff you need to know:- Full service history - Taxed 'till April 2012 (£165 a year) - MOT'd 'till November 2012 (no advisories) - Insurance group 5 (using old system - costs me about £350 a year living in nice area, no points, 8yrs protected no claims, theft of my MX5 on the record) - Just over 53,000 miles (a little higher than some others of this age but it's been virtually all motorway - I'm a freelance writer and it's been to the Geneva and Frankfurt motor shows in the past year!) - Last serviced at 50,500 miles - New brakes all round - Had new tyres and alignment done November 2010 (plenty of life left on tyres, alignment still spot on) - Air conditioning recently serviced - Getting genuine 43mpg average - basically pretty much what Fiat claims. The car gets enjoyed but never thrashed, so the economy is good as a result. It'll do 50mpg on the motorway and never measured it around town. Less good stuff:- Cigarette lighter missing (yawn) - Few stonechips on bonnet. No rust in any of them. - Wheels slightly scuffed (barely noticeable. And no, it wasn't me who did it...) - Handle for bonnet release slightly broken. Still opens the bonnet, but hangs down at the side of the passenger footwell rather than being in it's little gap. Common Panda(/Fiat) problem, apparently. Pics:Price:£5,500. Sensible offers welcome.Car is located in Harrogate, North Yorkshire as the title suggests. You can reach me at 07854648066 or via PM. My name is Antony, just so you know who to ask for on the phone! It'll be going up on ebay soon too as a classified ad, but thought I'd let you chaps see it first.
