edk83i know these cars are small but would a 6’2” person for in one ? or is it a complete no go i keep looking at those sebring hardtop conversions cracking looking cars Try before you buy but they are surprisingly spacious once inside. I am 6’ and er plump and fit quite well. That said the transitions are the challenge, getting in and out - especially out. I always tell people who are surprised by my size that I don’t so much drive it as wear it. And I get out by having someone pick it up and shake it upside down. But so mch fun!

Amazing cars! Can you tell me what transmission was bolted to the Suzuki engine? I believe that it's also a Suzuki box and that both it and the engine come from the Japanese Market RWD 660cc Jimny. Thanks

Hello. A few weeks ago I found an image of a retro American maybe muscle car. I forgot what it is, but it looks similar to a 72 Buick Riviera and I think it's name starts with a Z. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Zimmer Quicksilver - based on a Fiero

Here in Canada i use netparcel.com they will likely have USA shipping as well. Gives a variety of options. I just shipped a steering rack to NZ and it was nowhere near that amount.

Anything that hasn't already been done, which to be fair means lots, because I don't think anyone's ever done anything extensive with a maxi. See how the shortened 2dr works? Here you go, since you double dared me, I was legally obliged to try and fix the Maxi. So it's not really anything that anyone would probably try and build, but more of a 'what if'. Had Austin decided to go rallying with the Maxi or even gone totally mental and made a coupe version (you know, the sort of thing that every other car manufacturer does) then just maybe they'd have ended up with something like this. The car is more or less the same length, but the wheelbase is shortened. Everything from the bulkhead forwards is stock (aside from a couple of bits of artistic license. Anyone want to guess the inspiration? Love the treatment and love love your photoshopping ability. I must confess though that my first thought to this treatment was - skoda!

Technically it doesn't belong here, but it sort of brilliant. There's potential in there somewhere. Prototype Smart Car. 😂

I keep thinking an MX5 engine - readily available and all the power you really need plus some.

Years ago, I modified a roadster version for a customer. Do you have a pic of the finished car?

I did think of MX5’in this, but having done the decent thing and relieved the world of a few MGB’s I’ve still got the good bits from the B’s This is more what i was thinking - or the Rover. It has long been my dream to transplant a BMW powerplant into a Borgward Isabella and make a restomod version of what a BMW 3 or 5 series currently is. A sport cruiser of sorts. Even an MG Magnette would be cool

That original boat you rebuilt was it featured in a tv programme as it seems familiar. Lol yes I was on telly with it last year, I believe it's still kicking around the Internet... Channel 4, My Floating Home, Episode 5? Thanks, I recognized it as well from the show (and watched it in Canada so you are famous)

I did fall in love with the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (a trilogy of four books by Douglas Adams). And the radio series, and the film. But the TV series was a bit rubbish sadly. Not wishing to sound pedantic, he lied, the trilogy is in five parts with the final volume being 'Mostly Harmless' I love the books and even forced them upon my youngest daughter as bedtime stories after having had to read the Harry Potter series to her. I didn't mind the TV series, if I'm honest. OTOH the movie is one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

Anybody else tempted by the Aston Martin DB5 Speed Champions set? Interesting build. Is that really oil leaking out the bottom? Lego just keeps getting more and more authentic. 😂

I think 57 Chevy. Iconic shape, likely to come to the artist’s mind and the white inserts on the rear quarter panels
