But think Black car has been ruined (toooooo low and wheels too large) What!? The CROWN is FANTASTIC,.. one of my fave cars from NHOA this year.. it's on hydraulics, very sweet cross of hot rod and lowrider styling...

But think Black car has been ruined (toooooo low and wheels too large) I think the combination of the ride height and the whitewalls make them look bigger than they are...realistically they can't be bigger than 15" IMO.

I love the CROWN coupe. I always liked the Laurel coupe too but they are sooooo rare. With cars like this it's all about the wheels. The paint's nice but pretty well everything else is stock. I'm now thinking about fat black 15" deep steels with stretched tyres for mine now. Why is something as simple as wheel choice so fraught with difficulty? Have you tried findind 114.3 four stud 15" deep black steel wheels?
Great stuff. I love the Japanese customising.

Why is something as simple as wheel choise so fraught with difficulty? Wheel choice is often what will make or break a car,.. never think it's a simple thing

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

50's kustom style '63 MS41 right down tp the interior, has some great pinstriping and hand painted lettering too! Loved this 'rat-look' MS63 wagon, flat paint, rusted out arches and sills and nice shiney Cragars and Coopers! Nice MS65 had microflake and Kandy Rootbeer, as well as late model 90's CROWN rims. Bagged MS63 wagon Nice MS55 running 18" Anteras with a polished lip

Another 'rat-look' wagon, this time an MS46 Think the paint is original? Shame we don't get more of these classics here! This was the nicest ride there, a bagged MS51 coupe, absolutely stunning! It drove in this low too, as Japan's roads are super-flat and the healthy tuck of the stock steels with bullet caps meant plenty of arch clearance!
