Sky one/mix tonight at 9pm 'Chavs'

What did they do, just sit in southend or chelmsford for an hour with the camera rolling ;D

Greenock's a good place to see infamous chavs doing annoying things, although if I catch them doing anything infamous near my motors again then you'll be seeing a lot of infamous chavs in wheelchairs! ;D ;D ;D ;D

A chav is a street rat in a track suit. This woman classed everyone left right and centre as a chav! Girls aloud? Erm, no, they're not.

Shes got the complete wrong end of the stick with the term 'chav'.

Girls aloud are defo chavs in my book. They may have a few quid in their back pockets at the moment but the are sufficiently lacking in class of any sort that they are just one or two failed records away from swigging cider in a bus stop having spazzed every penny of their 'wages' on burberry handbags and getting p*ssed in posh clubs.

You still would though. That cheapness has a special kind of allure.

That kind of snobbish attitude does my head in, the notion that everyone who isn't financially well off is a ned who's out committing crimes and causing trouble for no reason at all other than that they're working class and as such must be dirty, uneducated, and out to smash things up and nick them because they're apparently jealous thugs, etc etc etc. I've come across it so many times and it does my head in! Personally I am one of those no good proles, I've lived in bad areas much of my life, I spent ten years in a council house, which seems to be an indication of being a delinquent according to a number of ignorant, snobbish b*stards I've come across, I've went to one of those schools were your class mates try to sell you dope when the teacher's not about, that sort of thing But I'm certainly not a ned, I've never been into nicking cars or getting into fights outside pubs at 3 in the morning, that sort of thing, so how not being from a well off family makes me some sort of delinquent is beyond me!

Sorry, just thought I should explain that in case any of the toffee-nosed swine (I'm not saying that's all of the middle classes before anyone misinterprets and starts a fight about it, they are after all a MINORITY, but they're still very very annoying!) who've decided that everyone who's ever been to a comprehensive school, lived in the east end of a town or city, or used a slang expression in their lifetime is automatically a car stealing, house burgling, shoplifting delinquent who is just jealous because he's a "dirty prole"!

I stand by what I say:

Chav is a little curse word in a track suit that hangs around the streets! Nothing to do with class etc. The term 'Chav' has been used too broadly e.g. by the press who know the square root of curse word all and the presenter from sky ones programme last night.
