editted highlights Is it just me who at first glance thought that black mark on the road was rubber from the rear wheel? Pretty pathetic show from me: 1983 Honda Accord - "thanks Dad!" actually a really nice drive. Eventually lost most of its sills & floor 1984 Nova 1.2 2-door saloon - huge fun, finally died of rot on about 150k... 1991 Lada Riva 1.5 - minty fresh on 30k, still regret getting rid 1993 Cav (mk3) - best ever daily drive. Supremely comfy, went on & on & on & on..... 1986 Nova 1.2 - couldn't stay away!!! 1993 Scrote Zetec - utterly awful, in nearly every way. 1995 Fiat Brava - lasted a month before chewing up it's cam. Italian, 'nuff sed... 1996 Civic Coupe - Nice future Retro, spoilt by driver image. 1988 Mini 1275 A+ - nice little street racer, lowered on Minilites, could be heard 2 miles away... only left the garage 3 times in 2 years. Sold while there was still some solid metal in the shell 1982 Stanza - held together by rust & wishful thinking ;D

Having been brain washed by a cousin and his collection of Capris, I've been mostly Ford. PAST1985 Mini City E - rotten, had it at 16, never drove it legally on the road. Turned to dust. 1986 Ford Escort XR3i - a deathtrap, rotten, had a textured paintjob. 1981 Ford Capri 2.0S - A car I'd always wanted, great fun. Sadly shiney on top & a pear underneath. 1989 Rover 216 SEi - free, boring, leaky, more rot, more leaks, scrapped. 1998 Ford Escort Finesse Estate TD - work hack. Sounded like a dumper, looked like a hearse. 1999 Ford Transit LWB - Went all over the country usually at breakneck speed in it. Forced to do things a van shouldnt do... ;D X987 SRM where are you now? 1987 Ford Capri 2.8 Special - perfect in every way, ended with a trip to hospital for me, and a banana shaped coupe. Miss that car, will have another tho. 1996 Pug 306 Sedan 2.0 - this one looked alright, commited electrical suicide the day after buying it, dealer wouldnt take it back, sold it as a non runner for half of what i'd paid for it. Sh1te. Various Merc commercials. Current1988 Ford Sierra XR4x4 - Bored one Saturday armed with some spare cash, the Autotrader and a mate, made a few calls - the Senny was sold, so was the Capri, Mk2 GTi seller wouldnt answer the phone, this was local, cheap, minging and after a quick blat - mine. '06 VW LT - work. '04 Ka - the missus daily. Spend so long working on my mates race cars, not had time / space for a really good retro road project. At least thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it... lol!
