2022 was quiet Year for me car wise after a few changes in 2021 (sold my E38 740i to another RR'r and scrapped my R170 SLK230 and purchased an R171 SLK200 and found I was missing a V8 in my life so I purchased the cheapest SLK55 AMG I could find and it's proved to be bork free

So weekend fun gets taken care of this



The daily continues to be good fun in a compact package



The "problem child" hasn't been used all year and typically needs some fixing



I sold this to an ex RR'r JB as it was no longer required



I keep fixing this even though I don't own it - it's survived way better than I thought it would



I have a couple of other long term projects that I really need to crack on with

I'll leave the two wheel stuff out of the thread although typically they need a cull too

Bought this to save it from scrap for 80, moted it and rallied it up a bit but didn't really needit, work colleague wanted it so sold it him him for 350 that it owed me, saw it on marketplace for 1000 a few weeks ago




Bought this instead as a project, got most of the mechanical work done but noone wanted to do the welding properly around here so sold it on, 2.0 Supertouring 0175




Bought this to replace it, working with ticket but needing work, 2.5 SRi V6, I've replaced the whole exhaust with a stainless BTB system, full service, new brakes, Supertouring wheels, Recaro seats. Handbrake cable snapped yesterday though, so that's chocked up until the garage reopens, can't be arsed stuck under it in the cold 🤣

Spent most of the year procrastinating about what to replace my Fiat Multipla with but then my wife blew all our money on this:


2023 has potential for a few changes to the fleet and I'm hoping that a mk1 TT will feature at some point as it's an itch that just won't go away and good ones aren't going to be this cheap for much longer.

Sold the SLK (well, part-exed it anyway)

Was very tempted to buy a cheap daily and/or v8 donor towards the end of the year but maybe that will have to be a job for 2023
