I remember you could get catalogs just for body kits there was a couple of main companies but I used to spend ages Flicking through the pages thinking if I use that front bumper from that kit and the side skirts from another kit that would look cool Problem was most didn't look cool and would look awful nowadays But some I recon would still stand the test of time I never really liked the capri but I did like them with the X-Pack arches and still do now

But for me, the true love is the Gemballa SEC. It doesn't matter what anyone else posts up, this is the pinnacle of awesomeness.

I have no idea who made this kit, I'll have to do a bit of research, Research no more, it was a german company called Folger Tuning. They did a lot of similar stuff for several cars. They also spoile(re)d a lot of super beetles with wide fenders and square twin head lights.

It's not ALL 90s. The 70s could be pretty funky as well...

Difficult to search for because looking for anything Rover brings up a plethora of monochrome onanist chariots these days. The few Roversport kits I've seen pictures of do look very smart and have that factory feel to the design a lot of kits don't. That is superb, and works well with the MGF/TF?? alloys!
