So, anyone else in love with retro bodykits from the 70ies, 80ies and 90ies?? I'm so much in love with the retro tuner look, that I sourced this for my Mk2 Golf project, a complete and genuine Zender Z6 bodykit: And on sunday I picked up a Seat Toledo which I intend to use as a donor for the engine for the Mk2 and yesterday I found out it's got a pretty rare MS Design (who made all the parts for Votex back in the day) bodykit on it. I'm not sure what to do with the kit. Probably put it up for sale and if it doesn't sell I fear I'll just have to buy a 16v Toledo someday to put it on! Another one that I owned was the complete AC Schnitzer kit I had on my E36 some time ago: I still regret parting out that car, mostly because of how rare that kit was. What about you guys?

I was a fan of the KAT body kits for Metro, Capri and Rover. As 80's as shoulder pads...

Much abused example of Mugen (or good copy?) kit on '90 CRX Also have "Mugen" horizontal ducktail rear wing I'd bought previously, & SiR wing so could always go completely mad & stack 3 wings atop one another.

Elford front bumper for the early RX-7s [/biased]... Elford didn't only make turbo kits so good they were warranted by Mazda, they also made bodykits. The skirts were horrid and looked like they were melting but the bumper is massively awesome and lost the goofy front overbite of the stock one and also scored big points for including properly 80s chic Cibie square foglights that it's impossible to find bulbs for nowMazda; b front offside by Nick Liassides, on Flickr Elford; bumper6 by Nick Liassides, on Flickr

Me! I love the 80's one. How much i'd like to found some light that could fit into the Lester grill for my Alfa... sigh. Maybe some Scirocco's one. The absolute essence of 80s bodykits for me are the Orciari one, especially for the Golf mk2.

Some good stuff already guys!
If anyone's interested, I got a Zender catalogue from 1989 and a D&W (major tuning store back in the days here in Germany) from 1988 and a Rieger catalogue from 1998 kicking around and I could scan or photograph some stuff?!

I have one of the pinnacles of the 90s, the fake sierra rs500, remember when every man and his dog threw the arch kit and whaletail oh his or her 1.3 or 1.6 with dodgy wheels that never filled the back archs, with a peco big bore 4 to supply the sounds, oh those were the days, ive owned mine since 2001 as a standard (wrecked) car and built it myself so it's a modified throwback from then Just waiting to get it painted

I saw a kitted Sierra estate last week but I was too busy wrestling with the buggy while my daughter was running away to get a snap. This is the one I recall from the 80s as my boss was forever banging on about his Audi 100. Eventually he got the full Kamei kit and he took me through every last detail.
