Hai guys.
I've got a Hillman imp, which i've had for a while, which i had hoped to have out for my first car, but the welder curse word up, and any work he has done needs redone(ask Gary, it won't even pass an MOT with it) So i needed a dailly runner. A corsa crossed my mind, but i was soon convinced a micra was the way to go.
Seen one for cheap with 11 months MOT, perfect! Went to see it, suited the bill, so bought it the next weekend. And it was just your average boring standard micra:
Wheel trims were ditched, as were the bump strips. I then got bored so went orange
Garys old bucket seats were also fitted and the rears removed
Then i bought some 13x7 minilites for it
It stayed like that from September till a few weeks ago(wheels came off for winter) as i was adamant i'd get the Imp out(No where near it yet - Micra has took priority) So i decided have fun with the micra this show season while working on the Imp when i could and try to get it out for the 50th anniversary of the imp(2013)
So first up was some lows(courtesy of Gary)
(rears are to follow soon)
Then my pal came round and painted it for me since he's awesome with spray cans
First morning out
Because it was the crappy black bumpers and we didn't prime them, it has already started peeling, but painted bumpers shall be bought this weekend, and i'll get the bumpers redone
Plans still to be done are
get the rears to suit the front,
chop original arches out and fit these:
Fit the minilites back on with smaller tyres
1300 fitted with the 1.0L box
get corsa coilovers fitted
Some performance parts and that should be me sorted for the show season
Decided with Gary going flush would be better than putting the jdm arches on and then having to get spacers. So the back got lowered, some ghetto rolling took place and here's the end result.
Not sure what i'll do with the arches i bought yet, might see if i can buy another car to put them on haha,
But aye, that's how it stands just now
