Looks like it has 'RSI' stamped into the back, could they be an early set of RSI alloys?

I doubt they will be 4x100 but looks like the holes are ovaled aswell. fit out what they came off and then you would have a better idea

Thanks guys. They aren't to far from where I live so I might be able to go and trial fit one before I bid?
Just done a quick photo shop....they wouldn't look too bad don't you think?

I'd ask him what they were fitted to before. My instinct says they're either Ford or something like a Triumph 2000 in which case the PCD will be way off what you need.
If they did fit then they would look extremely good with some suitably low profile tyres on a slammed Corsa.

Don't forget to budget in a set of sleeved wheel bolts and possibly spigot rings too, even if they are 4x100 (Which is unfortunately not too likely on a wheel of that "vintage")

American Racing Spectre's
Or at least that is how they were sole here in the states. Common on Datsun 510's and 240/260Z cars.
Probably 4X114.3

Here's the sellers reply...
Hi, we have checked the PCD on the holes. It looks as if the holes have been opened up a bit to fit something they didn't fit. The holes are approx 11/16" dia and the PCD is between 3 15/16" to 4". We think they came in to the U/K with a Mk1 Sprite USA import but not sure. Hope this helps. Thanks.
....so, I think you're all spot on.
I think I'll arrange a meeting with him an see what I think then.

well if you can find out what pcd a mk1 sprite is, someone on here will know then you will have a better idea of if they will fit.

Sprite is 4x 3 3/4" aren't they? Possibly been ovalled to fit on 4x100 but could be forty.

Ahh! Unilug. That is what that style of mounting was called in the 60's and 70's Slots like this That require special washers to match your PCD and "mag lugs". Like these Some were round, some were oval. Heck some steel wheels just used a flat bottomed bolt/nut and no washer since there wasn't a conical seat. Finding the hardware might be a challenge. A machinist could make some if all else fails.

id put money on em just being 4x4" that someone had a file to to make em fit 4x100, given how wobbly them holes look.

I'd tent to agree with Dez there, sounds likely that they're 4x4, ovaled to fit 4x100. The definitely look like the holes have just been attacked a bit by hand, rather than originally being uni-lug.

if they are 'unilug' which tends to be mainly an american expression (i think) then Raceways of Donnington will probably be able to help you out with the hardware to fit them. www.raceways.co.uk/

Look like a reasonable offset (any rwd wheel is gonna poke on a Vauxhall though), but not so good brake clearance. Fwd calipers stick out quite proud of the hub face, so once you've factored in spacers too, expect them to poke a bit.

Thanks for the advice, all. After reading all the replies, I think I'll give these wheels a miss and look for some others that will be more suitable.
