No more scrapyard turbos!(Sob) No more DIY injection systems! (Sob) No more 27 litre Rover! (Sob) No more Rolls track day car!(Sob) Black armbands all round! Wrong Magazine ;D PPC is alive and well........ Retro cars mag is the one thats going MG and alfa monthly as it was for quite some time I am sorry but I don't think it deserved to continue the way it has been for the last year or so..... I only bought the odd copy wheras I used to buy it every month, just too samey and was very badly researched if at all MAgazines should involve, educate and inspire..... RC did none of that for me for quite a while Take a look at Retro Ford, it reminds me of the early days of Retro cars, started by enthusiastic people who are doing it rather than just trying to get involved with the scene. alright it has some inaccuracies but I am prepared to put up with that as the rest of the MAg is well written with enthusiasm. RC was/is not..... it could be good again, but it needs someone with enthusiasm to pick it up and run with it, not just another corporate publishing house. As for the online thing......I`m afraid I prefer a proper mag, always have always will, and I subscribe to Autospeed online as well and yes the search facility is useful but to me it doesnt replace the feel of a magazine Reading a decent mag is an enjoyable Tactile experience, reading online is a bit too much like work..... and as for printing it out......misses the point entirely The vinyl vs CD thing is still running and with good reason too I have CD`s and an I-pod for work but if I really want to listen to music then Vinyl still rules Back to back cd and vinyl on a good system if you don't beleive me.......you wont believe how much is missing on the digital media

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I haven't read this entire thread, but it sounds like the downfall of the classic magazine is upon us. Which is sad really, you can't take your PC on the bus with you to read on the way to work/uni etc.
What I'm wondering tho, is what happens to us people with subscriptions to RR? I only just got mine and it was hugely expensive seeing as it was an international one. Can we get a refund? Or transfer it to another magazine? What's the deal?

Well in past experience, if a magazine stops being produced they normally offer an alternative mag from the same publishers

you wont believe how much is missing on the digital media Erm... i thought the wonders of digital is that you can have what ever you want all in one format easily, if you can buy it on vinyl, CD, casset, 8 track, or what ever you can have it in digital in just a few click simply by ripping it... and to be honest i find that if i cant find it in the shops, i can definatly down load it. Personally i would say that more music is missing from vinyl than digital, however digital is far more 'real'

A friend of mine is an editor over at Future on "Good Woodworking". I can put the word in if you want to switch to "Good Wood" for your subscription.
