Very nice! If it was mine I'd be leaving it just like that. Sometimes simple really is best ;D

Looks awesome as is, some kind of small spoiler would look ace And I'm usually one for the spoilerless look, maybe a small ducktail one?

Got a real soft spot for these, after having a 1.6 gl myself. Being young and stupid, it survived the cambelt snapping, me launching it backwards into a kerb and a lamppost and finally threw all its oil out the dip stick! But I still loved it I had the 205 gti wheels on it and all I wanted to do was lower it a touch. I nearly bought my mates goodwood when he sold his a while back

Looks nice, not heavily modified. But very period.
I would loose the rear badges and paint the wheels in gold since that is the colour of the striping.

I like this. You haven't gone overboard with the lowering and it looks all the better for it. I think you've got the height right. I agree about the gold wheels though; they look pretty good as they are, but gold would be better. Keep the badges though!! david

I was looking at painting the centres gold and maybe having the lips polished or painted silver. I seen a lot of these wheels in gold and they do look good

Oh this is nice! As you say a little more low at the front would be good, but other than that it is spot on. Please don't add any tat or spoilers!

I love this, hoping for a similar look for my '88 205 junior. It's nice to see some inspiration for a non-GTi 309/205. Any more pics?
