OK need some advice.
I have decided to get rid of my two 75TS’s (ones already been sold cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=016&item=260005127793&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESO%3AIT&rd=1 ) retrorides.proboards29.com/index.cgi?board=FSW&action=display&thread=1152606955 , & replace them with one good one.
I have 2 available to me (unless I can persuade Phil Gotts to part with his!!!!)
In Summary
1st 1990 TS in Champagne Silver, with 73,000 genuine miles.
Plus Sides;
All electrics working – even wing mirror !!!!
It drives nice & tight.
Ex Italian Embassy Car with a FULL AR Dealer service history.
Buying from a friend who got the car into him as a trade in.
£800
Immaculate interior
Down sides;
Had a spot of rust above rear light (now fixed & sprayed).
Has a rust hole in the bulkhead (could get fixed in price).
Laquer had come off OSR door (now fixed & sprayed)
No Sunroof
No Alloys
Other than documented history, no real history as not buying from previous owner.
2nd 1990 TS in Red, with 100,000 genuine miles.
Plus Sides;
Recent Full re-spray by good body shop
No rust
2 Owners – last for 8 years
Fully Waxoyled under & in all panels.
Full & comprehensive service history, but done by owner & very competent friend of mine.
Buying from friend of a friend.
Tow bar
Had donuts, gearbox mounts & clutch done 15,000 miles ago.
Down sides;
Some electrics not working.
After market Glass Tilt & Slide Sunroof – headlining not original & failing away a bit on sunroof itself – motor very noisy – operated using non-origenal switchgear.
Horrible 14” Speedline Alloys
Bumpers & wing mirrors have been sprayed black – don’t match grey line down side of car – looks odd.
Gear linkage bad – struggle to get 5th – probably tight linkage, needing adjustment.

Which should I go for ?
Don’t really have £1500, but could get it at a push, if I bought the £800 car, then I may be able to muster another few hundred pounds for any unknowns.
I am keeping my 16" wheels off my red one.
