Started making the loom for the 5th injector setup, I'm quite friendly with the auto electrian next to my work. He very kindly supplied me with several meters of coloured wire for free.....
So out came the soldering iron and this is what I've got so far....
I've started wrapping the loom. Hopefully it'll look nice and presentable, and not like a load of random wires thrown across the engine bay ;D
Went to a local drift day on Saturday at Smeatharpe, which is an old RAF base near Exeter. Been to the last 2 events in my Omega so this was the first time properly skidding the Sierra. Was great fun as always although it was a bit of a learning curve getting back into a Sierra! The Sierra requires much more driver involvement in order to hold a slide and to change direction. I struggled in the morning with understeer on the kidney bowl, but thankfully once it had dried up in the afternoon I was holding some okay skids on the main track. Some photos from the day....
....the day did highlight that I need to sort out the steering. Compression struts are definately on the cards.
