I did , but seems I’ve deleted them at some point . From memory the gap between tyre & arch at the front was around 10-15mm , personally think it would have looked a lot better without that gap . The rear had plenty more left to drop down . Yours looks a lot lower at thr front than his did . Balls want to go lower on front

Have fitted them to a 2018 Skoda VRS estate for a mate , he likes them alot . Wound all the way down & ride is slightly firmer than standard . They were the standard street version . Fitted a set of MK5 golf fronts , the lower height version , to my Caddy & again rode really nice . Would be my go to for budget type coilovers . 👍 Any pics of the drop on the skoda? Most budgets on ebay only have 60mm drop on them

Something isn't right apart from being low the wheel looks to be well forward in the arch. That might just be where it ends up at the end of normal suspension travel though. If you can't see any spare bits of spring lodged anywhere it would be a good idea to jack it up and see what's up. Has something else broken ? When they drop low they do go forward in the arch, gonna order a new set of coilovers for it

I asked previously about coilover replacement parts as I'm a bit baffled by this. My B5.5 passat estate has dropped on the drivers rear so I fear it's either a broken spring or knackered shock. But it's not affecting the driving of handling, no knocks or bangs or squeaks. I've never had a broken spring or knackered shock on any of my cars and dare not jack up at the moment as I need the transport. How it usually sits How it's sitting

I'm happy with a couple of the welds. Gonna keep practicing though

Had my first go at welding on it yesterday. Took a cut from a Toyota Landcruiser wing out of the scrap pile, cut to shape to fill in the petrol flap hole.

redratbike horridoYes it's all pretty knackered, it's only going on as a mock up. I've spotted a complete floor pan/chassis etc for £450 so the plan is that at the minute, funds permitting

I'm going to be using some brass carriage lamps as headlights for the Munster Koach style, convert to run headlights or just get a day time MOT
