Early rangie seats had built in belts, but pretty wide, A proper suggestion is the middle seat of a KIA Sedona, possibly other 7 seaters have a similar set up, if needed can measure one for you Ttfn Glenn

A sidestep for the regulations is to supply power through a lead plugged into an existing, socket, Ttfn Glenn which for welding, is likely to be quite insufficient. Unless you are going up to an industrial plant, most hobby welders run from a 13 amp supply, compressors up to 3hp run from a 13 amp supply. It's vital when using an extension lead, that it is fully unwound when running a heavy load, as magnetic induction will heat a rolled up lead and very easily cause a fire Ttfn Glenn

That efigy is awesome, had to do some digging and.
At work all I usually see are standard moderns a few lowered tuned hatches, a graffiti Honda on air and a bubble arched mk1 escort. But our neighbor is prestwick airport so there's occasional interesting things over the fence. A few years ago one of the G summits took place so we had various world leaders private planes parked next to us, except the two USA 747s which were hidden in a hanger. Supposedly strange private jets used for rendition flights. For the last two years It's home to the scottish airshow, so visitors have included spitfires, huricanes, lancasters, flying fortresses, Catalina flying boat, Vulcan and also the red arrows, who also take off, land, taxi and park in formations. The other side of work is the naval rescue base so often have low flying sea kings rattling by Sorry can't find any pictures Ttfn Glenn

You can get a Russian claymore type anti personnel mine with pin pull wire from Eastern Europe quite easily I understand. Just make sure its facing the right way...... Only a suggestion. Much as I like this idea, unfortunately there's a couple of problems, 1 a mine will destroy your car 2 having an anti personel mine will get you a long stretch 3 a jug of napalm on top of the mine will give much more satisfying results Ttfn the mildly medicated Glenn

FYI. I just read an article on Autocar.co.uk where a South African member advised to leave a bottle of vodka in the passenger foot well laced with colourless, odourless poison. I am going to do this. From what I have heard, just buy the cheapest rubbish from a dodgy corner shop and it won't be far off, pure methanol seems to be the main component. Ttfn Glenn

Try jumping on the bar, or wedge the bar against the ground and try driving the car a few inches to see if that will shift it Ttfn Glenn

Had a look around a mobile engineering display at the Scottish airshow on Sunday, some examples of printing were there. To say I was stunned would be an understatement, a ball of gears which all meshed and revolved and various titanium components, how some were made lost me, but some were made using powder and lasers. 3d printing is in its infancy but I cannot comprehend what the future holds, New materials and changes in designs could mean, not only panels but drivetrain and suspension components Ttfn Glenn

Had the opposite with a mig welder, the solenoid stuck open, giving constant gas flow, a few swift taps sorted it. Hope your fault is cured as easily. Ttfn Glenn

Job to diagnose from a distance, but sounds to me, that the valve controlling the media is too open, and/or the valve controlling the blast air is too closed. Suggest start with media valve completely closed, set up your air flow, then gradually open the media valve until you get the results you require. A guide is, less grit more air gives a vicious clean, more grit less air gives a gentle clean Ttfn Glenn

The ACE cannot be held responsible for the behaviour of dipshits on the public highway, otherwise motorway services could be held liable for people speeding on the motorway. There seems to be a lot of people with money to burn, a few donuts soon eats a tyre and bike tyres arnt cheap. Sad fact is, anywhere there's an audience there will be clowns desperate to put on a show to make up for their insignificance. Ttfn Glenn

Somewhere, if I haven't lost it, I had a book all about hood ornaments, including some amazing art deco glass ones, but only 2 really come to mind, the cross hair sight on my fathers mk4 zephyr, and a news story about Diana and Fergie having frog ornaments, as you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find a prince Ttfn Glenn

A tale from the past, a friend used to be involved in mot tests for halfords, they had a metro in for test with siezed solid front suspension. The official info from Vosa was, no leaks, no free play, no fail, they could put an advisory, but couldn't fail it. Ttfn Glenn

Just a cheapy DA, good quality disks help. A trick is to sand until the sander slows then stop and let the pressure build, but start again before the compressor cuts out to maximize your sanding time Ttfn Glenn A large compressor is nice, but make the most of what you have, and luxuriate in how easy or is to move around The camper retrorides.proboards.com/thread/57316/78-transit-camper

Cannot comment directly on the Michelin compressor, but I happily, rubbed down and resprayed a transit camper using a similar aldi compressor, I added a modified propane tank, to increase the storage, use decent lines and connections as you have a limited air supply and need to get it to the tool, So you can spray, but you will have to operate within your limitations or get a bigger or additional small compressor.
