yeah ive asked previously when i was hoping it was air in the system
ive pressure bled it , reverse bled with a syringe , then tried it with the slave tied up high etc , I'm pretty sure its bled as its the same everytime

lhd mk2 golf g60
ive fitted new slave , master , hose and bled it alot
i get what youre saying about it shouldnt need it and I'm masking some other issue , but with all the parts involved it could be a couple of mm diffrant no? why would some cars have the ajustment ? maybe vw are just cheap lol
what I'm planning to look for is when i have the pedal in the carpet , I'm gona pull the m/c rod and see if its at the end of its travel , if it is then yeah no point , but if theres still travel when the pedal is on the floor wouldnt it make sense to alter something so that i get the full travel of the master?

cheers - that makes sense
thinking about it i think the pedal uses the m/c as its stop , with it unhooked it raises up much higher , i guess i need to make an ajustable stop too?

ive got a car that has a hydraulic clutch with no ajustable parts, it bites a bit lower than i would like ive replaced the master and slave in an effort to sort this
would there be any reason i cant cut the master push rod and thread it then fit the ends into a stud joiner so i can alter the rod a few mm ?
just cant get my head round how i would suss if the clutch is fully released with the pedal up
any ideas or thoughts

i also found it likes to peel off and is very expensive /hard to store etc
have a look at epoxy primers , stuff like jotun jotamastic can be had for cheap on ebay , you only mix what you need to so the tin will keep in the shed for ages , its tough as boots and sticks well

could you make the search function work well with short stuff like gti , k jet , 16v and so on , alot of forums wont search for 3 letter words , and maybe an accurate post code search so you can look for stuff you can collect localy

you could get footwell pods back in the day, i had a set in mine what i would suggest is make a mdf ring for the speaker , cover the footwell area with lots of parcele tape then layer on some fibre glass to form to the shape of the foot well , lash on the speaker ring at the angle you want them some t shirt stretched over it all and more resin lots of how to online if you search www.caraudiocentral.net/forums/fabrication-/12715-diy-build-fiberglass-kick-pods.html

amped 6x9 will sound pretty good if youre not that into your audio , can always use the amp on other future speakers anyway
have you beefed up where they're mounted ? once amped they will some kick to them , a strong mdf shelf or at least re inforced panels around the speaker will help the sound

well alot of speakers will claim outragous watts figures - same with lower end amps being xxx watts max
a good quality clean genuine 70-120 rms would wake up the 6x9
channels wise if you want 2 speakers then 2 channel / a 4 channel would give the choice to upgrade and run fronts off it as well , or in most cases you can bridge /join those 2 spare channels into one and run a subwoofer
stick with good brands and only read into the rms figures , its a bit like a big engines car , you can have a huge amp ticking along just above min all day long and do no harm, rather than a cheapie market one flat out distorting your speakers
