I still have this!
Actually it's been sitting in disgrace after constant idling issues and just when I'd got that sorted by threatening it with a piece of wire, the wipers started working but wouldn't switch off.
Turns out the wiper control thingy (technical term) had gone tits. After finding it (you'd imagine it wouldn't be buried way behind the dash) I replaced it and now it's fine.
That's it for now.

Right. Finally had time to get some things done to this. Fitted a radio finally. Welded up a hole in the exhaust so no more farty angry bee noise... Took the drivers for apart to check the power window then put it back together as the problem is in the a pillar... Fitted a cassette holder and pondered the existence of whoever ruined 2 pieces of interior trim when they installed the car phone. That's one of my pet hates that is. No need at all. Contemplated fitting the number plates on at a less jaunty angle... Didn't do that. Had tea and an apple pie instead. Dash top not too bad That's about it. There have been a few repairs underneath it... lol. I also though I'd better stop petrol falling on to the exhaust and adjust the bonnet latch. Still need to repair the digital dash, fit some rear speakers, rear arches need tidying, set of GSE wheels etc etc. Sent from my sunday morning pot of tea using proboards

I was following a 5 Monaco through Southwold a couple of weeks ago and trying to educate MonzaNikki as to why I was making those involuntary "look, an interesting car" noises. One of very few interesting cars spotted on our Far Eastern Oddessy.
First thing I drove after passing my test was my mum's D reg 21 saloon. Nice car really.

Before when it was plain white with a blue velour interior. I still have the dealer motif from the boot lid. Will get a pic.
Had to sell it due to back injury and lack of income. Desperate times.

I think I always just kept my wish list simple, Skoda Rapid, Viva coupe, something with a turbo, something old and British, something eastern block, Monza GSE all ticked off. I have no particular interest in supercars or the like but the one I won't ever be able to check off my list is a Lotus Carlton .
Buy something you like, enjoy it.
