not being funny but try therapy, immersion therapy is good, like at petting zoo's where you have to touch em n shiz.
Spiders in the UK can not harm you and as stated are great insect control. learn to love them, they also make great companions on long days when all ya mates are in the warm at home or down the pub.
sweet barn, post up progress pics.

slats done, just need sanding. made a quick drilling jig, would have been tedious if not.

this is a much better idea, fast AWD minus that pesky heavy bodywork. (if you have not seen it by now, where have you been?)

My girlfriend Lottie is selling her polo as we have too many cars. K reg 1993 1ltr Polo genesis 108k on the clock 10 months MOT 3 months tax Passed MOT fine and recently fitted full exhaust, brake lines, master cylinder, slave cylinders. I also have done some welding on the sills. Bodywork outside and underneath is good, all mechanical parts (sunroof, locks, windows...) work fine. only minor issue is one tyre is a bit worn. I should have one spare so it can be fitted. Please come and view if you are interested, email me at stephanhipwell@hotmail.com or call Lottie on 07783131588. car is located in Norwich. 450GBP ONO Thanks, Stephan ]

the people that make negative comments usually have not done or are capable of doing anything similar. gust jealousy and ignorance, they probably have no concept of woodwork or design. i however like your box.

yeah it is, i crew and been doing it for about 5 years now. you just have to stick it a bit to get good work, pay is good and i get loads of free time. it's pretty fun simple stuff also, not to mention the odd free stuff and workshop next door.
What's your name? how long ago was it you worked here?

Les mis has come to town so for the next 4 weeks i will have no evenings off but i will have lots of lil spare gaps between shows and cues on stage. so when i can i will be popping next door to our workshop and getting some bits and bobs done. As this is a new touring set they still make running mods to it, cutting and changing bits as they go. one of the things so far is they have modded some of the lighting booms. this has left some spare metal to play with. I have had a bed project on backburner (like everything else) for a bit now as the bed we have at the moment has no storage underneath it and Lottie has loads more clothes than the wardrobe, a dresser and part of the spare room can hold... so with the 40mm box steel i now have i started making up the the sides of the bed. I am making it with a 40cm clearance because i like high beds and it will help with the storage. It also needs to be in keeping with the rest of the room and the headboard i made a while back; so i will be making the top and storage out of wood to keep it coordinated as good as i can. then i want to make it so it can dismantle in to manageable bits to get through tight gaps and doors. This means it will be made with steel sides and spine with what essentially will be two single slatted wood tops. so here are a couple of pictures from today. I have done both sides, next is spine then on to the wood

FIREWOOD!!!If anyone coming is able to bring along some firewood/logs/offcuts of wood, please do. ;D On my own, I am not able to source enough wood to keep the woodburner running over a whole weekend, so the more people can bring, the better off we will all be. Don't worry about bringing too much....there is plenty of space to store wood and it's always better to have too much than not enough. I wouldn't want you all getting cold now Many thanks. OH.....and just a little reminder that there is now only three spaces if you're thinking of coming along to the fibreglassing workshop. know the feeling mate, i get through a tonnes of wood, i collect them from various businesses. they are quite happy for me to take them away.

Excellent idea for a toolbox. Recycled parts FTW and looks much better for it. Get a nice sturdy top on there and you'll have a mobile workbench/toolbox. I love the look of this place, looks like a really good workshop to both work in and hang out in. Looking at the photos in your first post I think you know a bit about photography? I know they are only on a K850i camera phone, but you certainly have a good eye for it. yeah, i have done a few more mods since those pics, will take some more photos tomorrow. alas i am pure amateur at the old picture box, i do remember hearing somewhere that "composition is everything" and that things look better from down below. I'm diggin' that motorhead tee it's a VW shirt, says motorhome on it. ;D
