LOL - those expressions.....priceless! Awesome machine there. Man, you gotta bring that to the Gathering cooking two birds at a time. I love this kind of engineering and I can't wait to see where this goes next with the upgrades. ;D Nice work. A deal, as long as you keep the health and safety guys busy... I respect a man with cool mods and good hair :L Hahaha! Must be all the grease and dirt I rub on it every day that keeps it healthy... Thanks for the comments guys, I could not do it without you...the fans.

I guess I need to grab a welder and find a propane heater don't I. The kebab spinner won't get made by itself. DO IT! It's like my baby now. New improvements are already on the way.

cheers everyone. elpassata - yeah man we got home ok in the end bit of an epic journey and some engine troubles but made it home! Should of said did you get out of Austria ok? So glad you are back on the road because thats one nice Mk 1. My car is sort of off the road now as when we got home the body kit cane off and the sides smoothed along with the door handles deleted, just need to rub the filler down and put some splode on it to protect it, then there's the wiring Is this the golf you were talking about?

Oh come one, we all know where this is going. Miss RR Calendar! oooh actually why not have a mister RR also? and sell em to raise money for charity? Because Volkszone* is that way -> and this is RR. If RR has a calendar, it'll be full of dirty dirty car porn, and that is all. *Which I do indeed love and enjoy. Oh go on. by the way... where did the "what colour pants are you wearing?" thread go? Alas the chance of maybe seeing girls with cars was too much for me to resist.

Done! I have done a bit of a fast forward due to a deceased camera. Anyway, engine is all done and drives great. I had to relocate intake to the other side as it would not have fit. I do love liquid metal some time, I had to cut the top of the throttle body of because it was hitting the bonnet and then filled a residual hole Made new servo hoses up The MK3 oil filter and cooler were in the way so i had to make a bit of a mod, just testing this fabrication and will make a pretty one later. Chopped a bit off the radiator fan so it would not hit the alternator. No breather on the rocker cover, you guessed it, it hit the bonnet, again i will sort this later. ECU is all tucked away.

try local ads and free ads etc. i would say go bigger also and bulk buys. i think selling anything with glue in to burn might be frowned upon by the authorities.

This may be a long shot but i have a lil problem.
i have swapped over the engine out of a 2ltr mk3 golf in to my 85 passat, the problem is that i have some spare wires running to my ecu.
i have looked in haynes and had a trawl though the net but not a huge amount of luck.
does anybody have a full diagram or workshop manual or know of anywhere to get one.
thanks Stephan
