I got the holes cut larger, painted it up and fitted the grommets. Fed the pipes through and routed it nicely. The header still needs a permanent bracket but its secure for now. Started it up and its all good with no leaks. I'm going a different route with my wheels now, I'm not going to tell you all though as i know its not been done before and i still need to work it all out. But for now the 13's are for sale, the 14's are to be painted and new tyres as it needs an MOT. After tyres removed Step 1 wash wheels. Step 2 try some paints to see how they could look. They will be getting sandblasted and painted properly. I think I'm swaying to the white and black.

Ive been trying to get these to fit my Renault but its just too much work. They stick out to far and the center bore is too small. I think the offset was something like 18
They are a bit dirtier now as I used them for about a day with spacers on.
They will all need a damn good refurb, they had bad brushed paint to start with then I just painted over with what I could find. They have tires but most of them don't hold air. I tried to seal them using clear silicone.
I started to open up one of the center bores to 60.1 with a hole saw, I got about 1mm deep and gave up. It will still fit 57.1 bores.
After £40
Collection only from MK45 1NY Flitwick. Cheers Mark

I do regret killing mine, it was such a unique car. Get a 480, they need to be saved from extinction

Yeah ill see what I can do. There's no real danger there or it cutting through. It was finished a long time ago. I'm just tidying bits up now.

I'm putting the header tank behind the bulkhead away from all the heat, plus it'll be the highest point of the system and make more room in the bay, de-cluttering it a bit.
I'm going to see if i have the original bracket and strap at home then ill bolt that into the inner wing and it'll be a proper relocation.
I may just paint the holes and leave them be - Id have liked it to look professional though.

2 holes for the bulkhead Lovely, although they are about 2mm too small for the grommet - also the material on the back thickens the wall to around 4mm, meaning the grommets i have wont create the seal i want. So ill have to have a think about that one. I'm also going to have the boost controller where it is now - Ill tidy up the tube runs later.

Ordered a bearing, only one as i wanted to check if it would fit first. Despite me double checking the listing and ensuring it would fit. It was very wrong - Bearing i needed was 65 35 35. So i ordered 2 from a well known source. Waiting for them to arrive now

I thought id have a look at where to put the header whilst everything else is going smoothly. This is a rough position, ensuring i can still get a tight grip on the cap. All i need to do is notch under the seal for one pipe and cut a hole just under the bleed valve there for another. Then worry about fixing it down in this area. Might just be another bungee cord solution. Also need to take note of the ECU's and make sure they are out of harms way from stray water.
