Try a 12 point socket in an imperial size between the 2 metric sizes or a sharp cold chisel at a tangent on the outer edge I'm not sure there are imperial sockets between 21 and 22mm

What i'd try: 21mm 12 point socket, as cheap as you can get, whack it and it might make it over the nut or even split enough to allow fitment. I'd try that as it's what i have to hand

It looks like a bodge job in my opinion. Not sure why you say that. It looks to have been cut neatly. I would assume it will be black when done so won't look much like wood

Love the garage. You could say it needs a fridge and a loo, but you might not get a lot of work done

I think these are great cars Great gear change, Great engine. I bought a 1.8 mondeo when i had one of these and was annoyed to find they have the same power. This has 115hp which can be used fully Driving position excellent. I used to drive from Watford to North Yorkshire and not a squeak of discomfort I was always chuffed the way it just worked. Doors worked without issue, lights never broke, electrics always worked GLWTS

So there is no such thing.
Registered as a trader means nothing

What does 'registered as a trader' mean?
When you fill out a tax return you may state what your business is. But where else?
Is there a national database of vehicle traders?

the only differences are in the bolt on panels, not the monocoque. The wings are part of the monocoque but changing the body for a brand new one is ok

We never got Clubmans (Clubmen?) with sliding windows here in New Zealand All clubmans had wind-up windows, this has sliding ones to save weight
