	I've bought a tub of paraffin to use as penetrating oil and so far it works well. Seeing as it comes in a 5 litre tub i want to decant it to a plastic spray bottle The trouble is, after working well for a few squirts it stops spraying. So far i have reused empty kichen cleaner bottles (flash etc) and i am wondering if the paraffin is damaging them somehow? I am prepared to buy a bottle for the job but don't want it to stop working or damage it. Does any of this make sense?

	I can only think its reacting with residue and thickening thus clogging them .

	From a very quick search it seems people mix Paraffin (Kerosene) with ATF to make DIY penetrating oil. I suspect a little ATF would help lubricate the insides of the spray bottles mechanism.

	You need a squirts bottle with a different type of seal the hydrocarbons seem to react with the normal ones and curse word them up quickly, viton may be the type you need, red diesel works as well, especially if it's a component you can chuck in a bucket of it over night

	I did have to get a refund on that bottle. The nozzle constantly dripped So for a few quid more i got this. It has an adjustable nozzle as well www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300625326057?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
