nice "roadkill" solution on the gastank..haha
Paul vanderheyden once told me the hole in the lowering tabs should be 25mm lower and 3mm more to the inside. this should give -1,5 camber.
How did you make the replica instrument panel? nice work. An original is like made of gold and not to be found..

Beware of the positive camber you get by using this kind of plate. I am still planning to weld extensions on the hubs. that way you 2,5cm lowering.

Love your car, for the rear wheel camber you could try to find some 850 spider springs. they are 1,5cm shorter then the berlina ones. Thanks! Do you know if the coupe springs are shorter too? as far as I know the coupe springs are the same. only from the spider they are shorter

How will you cope with the belgium "schouwing"/APK/MOT. There isn't much rebuilding possible within the belgium law? Is changing to a completely different engine allowed?

Wouldn't do the twinair. I don't like the sound..it sounds like a moped..haha Maybe a 1.6 from a ritmo will fit, they like to rev.? or a112 (abarth) engine with some tweaks?

How about a fiat 850, berlina or coupe?
not too quick, yet sporty enough.
2cv's are also nice. I think they are more expensive in Holland then in France. But also plenty available.

this week I took out the radiator. I thought it was broken, but decided to try and pressuretest it. I found a nice simple way to do this on internet. With a bicycle inner tube! It looks a bit strange, but it works! I found a small leak under the fillercap. I used a hammer to fix that and after that it wasn't leaking anymore. Win! after 2 days(yesterday) the air was still inside. double win! So I put everything back together again. Then I deciced it was also time for a oilchange and to clean the centrifugal filter. By standard the 850 only has a centrifugal filter, so no paper filter It was still pretty clean, just minor sludge inside. I cleaned it up and started the engine to warm up and to get the air out of the water system. I also checked the timing and adjusted that to. The car seems to run ok now, so it is time for a test soon. The MOT is coming up, so it is time to drive again to free up the brakes, they always get a bit sticky when standing still.

Can you tell more about the distributor? The A112 electronic distributor is like gold.. From a Panda could be less expensive.
How much HP do you hope to have now?
great job on the car!
