thanks for all good comments, I'm happy with the front, but i do think a pin stripe along the split line might help, and agree that the rear is a bit sharp so I'm thinking of softening the line from bottom of rear wheel up to bottom of rear light somehow. had today off from work, its warm and dry, so go out to play with the air ride, lower 3 corners and then whilst working on the last, this happens, will have to get a fitter at work to take a look on monday.

went for plan 3, had a half body wrap in brush alloy/silver, as it was being done the brushed alloy looked good, even when finished inside under the lights the silver was nice against the blue, but out side in the day light it looks sort of grey primer-ish, I'm not too sure if this has worked or not. honest nice remarks welcome please. and yes i know she is way to high, thats my next task

don't know why, but in my younger days around very late 70's i only had eyes for fords (mkII cortinas) how i wished i had taken the time to try out the wolf in sheep clothing, Hunter GLS even more so if they came in the same colour as yours is, looks a great car

its hard to video on your own !, want to capture it starting up, and a few mid range revs. and yes the cats have gone. any way used my mopping machine today for the first time, bought it from Lidl last year been to scared to use it on the Supra (l.o.l.) ran it over the boot and roof then gave the rest a quick go, no improvement on the boot and roof. (ive added two pictures to my first post of the poor paint work on the roof and boot) the rest came up pretty well oh forgot to say ive swithed the wheels over, next job (or when ever) i need to lower that air suspension somewhat. Drove her to work last night (shift work), coming home in the dark for the first time was fun "not"! who ever fitted the after market headlamps never lined them up what so ever, drivers side was looking for WWII bombers and I'm not sure where the passengers one was pointing, going from main beam to dip was more like going from main to just side lights, thats a job for my first rest day for sure.

got the car back from the custom exhaust specialist, a few with her on the ramps a great soft rumble on tick over (maybe still a bit quiet) but get her over 2 and a half revs and she comes alive, at least this way i will still get on with the neighbours (hopefully)

plan 3) took a step closer, went for a chat with Trowbridge's very own PROTINT UK who do vehicle mapping, wrapping and tinting, had a good long talk, banged a few ideas around, took some measurements and will see what the quote comes back as. just a small sample of colours available feeling some what frustrated today, having to wait on this quote and with the car being away having a new stainless steel exhaust made, so that she sounds how a V8 should. on the bright side of things, the wife drove the car on sunday....and she liked it ! so thats a "winner winner chicken dinner", although no ones allowed to eat in the car, now that ive clean it.

Once you lower it, it will ride like aboslute curse word. hey it may drive worse, but still getting the looks from the ladies washed the drivers mat for the 3rd time, and i think that will do. still to do, the inside, with the flash coming on they don't look half as nasty as they are passengers front drivers front and again rear drivers side "meltdown" i should be over at Bristol on the 20th of september, could pick those lights up there. had a go with the fixed carpet, some areas came good others not so, but all the bits that show are reasonable, these are the finished results. drivers front drivers rear passengers front

sorry I didnt understand what you meant by 4 rods? mine has the adjustable air suspension. each wheel/shock has an adjustable rods which look like baby track rod arms, been told they can take a lot of playing with to get the set up just right. will look at all the Soarer forums. spent most of saturday interior cleaning, the leather seats and door trims came up very well, but the carpets are stained, i think the last owner used this car as the team bus for a rugby squad, boots and all, after the first wash the removable mats look like this second wash ive used Vanish pre wash bar of soap, 3 of the 4 now look good, so its another go for the drivers mat after rubbing the bar of soap into the mat I'm leaving it for a good hour before i ram it into the washing machine (yes the wife has gone out) ive also bought some Vanish power foam for the main fixed carpets, which are bad at the sills and corners where the mats never coverd, this foam is sprayed on worked into the carpet with a damp cloth or I'm going to try a nail brush then left to dry/soak in, for 2hrs then when dry vacums off, fingers crossed how can i edit the end of the title of this thread, from introduction to interior cleaning (I'm sure ive done it before but not today) **now sorted thanks to "meltdown" cheers, and yes please i will have those updated rear lights off of you**

still thinking which way to go, 3 trains of thought at present, 1). do a home custom lace spray job, black over the blue (bonnet, roof, and boot) 2). find a local yoof who's a dab hand with graffiti art (bonnet, roof and boot) 3). get a half body black wrap, down to the crease line just below the door handles 1). after seeing the ace lace work done, on my other thread retrorides.proboards.com/thread/182190/custom-lace-spray i feel there's no way i could follow that. 2). i had a chin wag with some young skaters down at my local play area, asked them if they knew any one who was handy with an aerosol can and good at free hand art work, they all shouted "TAGGING", "yeah tagging get it done", so i asked them where he was but from what i could make out he wasn't well, he was "sick", in fact "well sick". did they think he would want paying, they said "No no just give him some coke or a small bag of weed", well i can't wait, he's gonna be well "mad for it", when he sees what ive got him. so it looks like i might be doing 3). and thats a wrap
