Soarer log, date purchased 1-9-15,
I'm nominating myself project manager, as my car fixing skills are limited and at this time in life I'm happy for others to get cold and dirty whilst i day dream and drink tea (or JD).
Seams i have become attached to the Toyota brand, finding myself now owning 3,
1). every day to and from work car, a GT86 2.0
2). sunny sundays (and wet RRG15) car, mkIII Supra Turbo 3.0
3). junkyard dog type of car, Soarer V8 4.0
Won off the bay, had to travel along the beautiful M3, M4, M25, M11 in the pouring rain, telling my other half that although its old, looks naff and the fact that I don't need it, owning a V8 would actually be fun. we set off at 8.00am and got back around 5.15pm weather was still sh*t, but the car drove faultlessly, even if i could not work out how to use the centre touch screen for the heater and radio as its all in Japanese Doh!
first task, was to remove that ugly rear bolt on fog lamp,
found out the passenger side front wing may have had some poor repair work, as when the door is opened it catches the edge of the wing removing paint and a layer of filler,
later spotted a broken passengers door mirror in the boot, which might explain why that sides mirror wont electrically move as the drivers side does.
shes way too quiet, i was hoping for a Mustang type rumble but all i get is a purr, booked in to get this sorted, the advert read "paint on roof a little dull may mop out" well so is the boot and i think thats worse than the roof.

future plans
There are 3 trains of thought at present,
1). do a home custom lace spray job, black over the blue (bonnet, roof, and boot)
2). find a local yoof who's a dab hand with graffiti art (bonnet, roof and boot)
3). get a half body black wrap, down to the crease line just below the door handles
whilst trying to decide i fitted some black checkered decals to see the contrast between the black and the blue.
Turns out that the after market wheels attached to my Supra bolt straight on the Soarer, a switch back to the standard sawblades will free these up nicly.
