I am looking for plastic clip replacements for sill covers. Mainly for the bits of cladding that go on the rear arches. Would anyone here be able to help me with finding some? Greg You can get pattern versions on ebay, I've used alot of those on my rebuild without issue. Or take one into the dealer to match up.

Glad the spacer ring idea worked out for you, if you want two extra factory speaker mounts grab a set of estate rear door cards.

They should be gravity fed at all times, and mounted at the closest available point to the tank outlet. Remember though that you must use a bottom feed fuel tank with that type of pump.

Looks great, arctic white sits really well on a w124.
I share your pain with the fit of pattern wings though, mine is off the road for some tidying up and wings are being a pain in the ass!

Thanks for the replies guys, Any good sources for a CHRA, seen ones on eBay but I don't mind paying extra for piece of mind. Get it from London turbos. They have an ebay shop.

Replace the core, or the complete turbo asap. That is engine damage waiting to happen.

My old mk3 was definitely 2.5 Peugeot powered, and a turbo. Could you get both engines?

I've got 7" speakers in the back of mine, I cut some plywood rings to lift the speakers up so that only the magnet sits in the hole. The factory covers still just fit over them and give an added benefit of working like mini bass boxes. I did however give up with the front speaker mounts as there is no room to work with. Those now house a pair of tweeters, the main front speakers being a 8" mounted in the doors. Thank you for your advice. I am considering fitting decent 4 inch speakers as they will fit straight in without any need to cut the rear shelf. However, I would also like to fit some sort of crossover that would cut the bass to all four speakers, leaving the sub to do its thing. In the USA you can buy bass blockers relatively cheaply but I've checked on EBay and can't find a similar gadget here in the UK. Are you using any crossovers or are all your speakers full range? I think you will be disappointed with 4" speakers, no matter what the brand 4" just isnt big enough. I do have crossovers built into the amplifiers, all speakers being component type. By using the spacer rings I was able not to cut the rear shelve at all.

If it's not leaking leave it there and put a new sensor in the top rad hose.

by adding the resistor is what the user manual says to do if you use a 60-2 pulley, its not a home made idea, its what they say to do! That's to keep the voltage in check, it wont change what the sensor can see.

from the microsquirt manual "Some installs may find it necessary to install a "shunt" resistor between VR+ and VR- to reduce the signal voltage at higher RPMs. A 1/4W resistor is sufficient and values in the range of 1k to 10k. 10k is recommended for 60-2 wheels." If it's looking for 30-1 get a trigger wheel to suit, or configure the ecu for 60-2. A resistor wont help the problem you have.

as a former continental-employee i have to tell you(and all others) that yellow and red dots have nothing to do with the balancing of the tyres. it is just an end-conrol-mark... i know. the myth will never die. but nice work anyway! I think you missed the point, He's using it to show the tire is moving around the rim.
