The Dukes pass is an amazing road but so are the A82 and A83 roads up the west coast to Oban.
If it was me and I had the time I would take the A82 south at Crianlarich, Join the A83 North at Tarbet and the A819 at Inverary. This will take you right through the Glen.
Head towards Oban on the A85 then up the A828 for Fort william.
You can wild camp in Scotland so you wont get moved on unless causing obstruction or camped in an obviously daft place so just wing it and stop whenever and where ever.
West coast has the most amazing driving roads. The single track roads north of Durness are incredible and try and go via Glenfinnan and Eilan Donnan castle.

Generally I am so immensely chuffed to see those photos of Scarborough! I can tell you for a fact that the harbour hasn't change much really since those were taken. The fair for instance is all still there (same rides by the look of it). They look to have been taken from the flats above what is now a cafe. No probs. I had a great holiday that year and we stayed in a flat above a novelty shop which is where the picture was taken from. I remember wanting to go on the jet boat all week but my Dad telling me to wait 'till the Friday in the hope I would go off the idea. On the friday the weather had changed, the sea was really rough and the ride was 10 times more fun. I need to see if I have more of the same.

Well, seeing as these ones went down so well, how about another artist. This guy is called Klemen Miha who hails from Slovenia and seems to specialise in classic motorsport artwork. Beautiful stuff. ![](http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2010/315/1/f/porsche_550_spyder_by_klem-d32m798.jpg) Anybody else reminded of that A-ha video for take on me? ;D

Check the weight, might be too heavy if you have a standard license.

btw - is that first cortina pic, from that professionals episode, where it starts off with a rubber dingy on the roof? There was an episode with Cowley's new desk on the roof of that which subsiquently flew off during a car chase.

The interior needs a bit of a clean and tidy but as I need to fit some camping gear I will be re-arranging things anyway. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v335/BTJustice/P1070140.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v335/BTJustice/P1070137.jpg) Still had the telly and a cabinet either side marked Nintendo and videoplayer ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Dave
