yeah pretty much, you get a scan of paper or whatever texture you want, desaturate it and set to overlay or soft light. thats the basic way of doing it so that only the shadows and highlights remain.
ive figured out a better way to really make it look real like in that CROWN one but its really drawn out and requires quite a bit of skills

i use photoshop pretty much daily and a fair bit of it comes out retro tinged. theres a style I'm quite digging atm called retro-futurism which is a pasts interpretation of the future. imagine the idea in the 60's of the future being flying cars and robot servants. that kind of thing. I'm more into the 80's era of this whole style though. heres some of my retro and retro future photoshop, photography and other graphics program work. no cars literally just did this poster, another band will go on for the headliner once its decided. I'm real pleased with this, it was the first faux hologram i did for my website, i don't think its been done before either, some what of a pioneer ;D another hologram check out my website if you want, theres not too much more retro on there but its all abit like this www.dogtemple.co.ukpost any of your photoshoppery if you have some please! (not car chops tho)

they rot in the rear arches, then the sills, the sun roofs also tend to rot but more on the inside so its cosmetically bareable.
mileage is irrelevant, just make sure its been serviced, the vtec one isnt necessarily faster than the non vtec one - big arguments about that.
ive had 2 and they're totally awesome cars, you wont find many unhappy owners. 1000% reliable too.
get on crx-uk, do a search on google, everything has been covered on there, if you search you will find.
i still go on there and havnt owned one since 2007! really are great cars and you get appreciative comments from those in the know. very quick too!
get one!

these things are cool ive toyed with the idea of doing it but always get too ambitious and ruin the essence of a cheap build.
built a couple guitars, one completely from scratch the other from various random parts to make a baritone sitar guitar

that red frame, would it take 20" wheels without looking stupid?
i have a lowrider similar to the one above but the frame is all scratched up. would it work as a good replacement do you recon?? I'm thinking it could look sick i just cant figure out how the wheels would look on that frame

nice for £50! looks more like a dual slalom bike. its not retro btw, its probably no more than 5 years old if that
what was wrong with the cranks to make you remove them?
