We had one like the white one in the first post as a works bomber years back.. It drove like a shagged out works van with eleventy hundred thousand on the clock. Which it had. It had fold-flat seats in the back though, which I thought was a real good idea. Essentially just an estate without windows.

Defo cool. But I am biased, here is mine with a 'scruffy' Veedub up a mountain in Greece. It's a 208D with a turbo conversion. Painfully slow, no power steering and thirsty (just like a VW). But I love it, dead reliable, hot and cold running water, toilet, shower etc. Ms Generallee and I recently returned from a 22000 mile, 11 month road trip in him. As much cool as you get with a type 2, I wouldn't fancy living in one.

Albert Looms in Derby used to be pretty good, but it's a long while since I have been. Walk around or they have a 'stores' full of the most popular oily old tat. They used to drag in wrecks with a fleet of V8 Land Rovers but I havn't seen one about in ages www.albertlooms.com/

I do,mostly interested in the matchbox cortinas and kenworth trucks though! As a child of the 80s I remember all Matchbox trucks seemed to be Kenworth- cabover or conventional in about eleventy zillion different colour schemes! ;D.

£450? The trailer is pretty ropey! She has been laid up for a bit but was running/pumping water when laid up. Could do with a service. Make me an offer!
Donttellhimpike I am sorry for hijacking your thread, lovely boats there. Wouldn't fancy towing them though! I am really coming around to the idea of pottering about in a cabin cruiser. Possibly I could take up smoking a pipe!

Yeah she is pretty nifty, bit of a handfull as she still has (rather slack) washing line steering! She planes no worries 5 up with the fins, before I fitted them everyone in the back had to get up and lean over the windscreen! Doesn't seem to slow her down too much either.

I have a 15ft Fletcher Arrow with a Mercury 50 on the back. She is up for grabs, but might be a bit small compared to your previous ships ;D

Right, basically I have just had a V5C back for a new (to me) car, instead of being blue it is red and says "THIS DOCUMENT IS NOT PROOF OF OWNERHIP. It shows who is responsible for registering and taxing the vehicle." across the top. Does this mean summat dodgy is going on, or are they all like this now? I will leave these here as a little token gesture. Thanks

That is about the best engine/blower to car size ratio I have seen in a while!
Was this in Street Machine? I am sure I recognise it...

Right chaps (or chappesses), Thanks for all the calls, rob0r got in with the first phone call of the day, narrowly pipping midniteclassix to the post. If for any reason the sale doesn't go through it's yours matey. I am sorry for messing you around.

Hi all, the engine is OK, starts first time (nearly) every time. It has a bit of a tappety timing chain sort of rattle, but no horrid big end type noise. No power steering or leccy windows, the mirrors are remote electric though. Yeah it's seriously £200! Insurance isn't as bad as you might think, it's just that round badge on the front that bumps it up! Midniteclassix I got your PM ta.

As per title, 316 E30, 1.8 4pot with a carb (twin choke down druaght Weber), manual 5 speed. Tax 'till February, MOT August 2011. 170K miles. I am selling it as I have a new job with a long commute, so have bought a bland diesel euro-box Otherwise I would keep it The seats are rubbish- they are currently hiding under naff/tasteful/kitsch zebra print covers. Needs new front discs, rear bumper rusty, rev counter and temp guage not working. ...apart from that it's a scruffy but pretty sound old bomber. Would make a good winter ride or project. It had new (from the scrappers) front struts in September. Could do with a new tyre on the back. The spare has plenty of tread on it but it keeps going down. Think it needs re-seating on the rim. It's currently in Sale, Manchester. Call me on 07725 337339 or PM me, or ask stuff on here and give me a bonus bump! I have probably forgotten loads.

Loving that '55, it looks massive next to the brit stuff. I'm not a big fan of chopped Minors, but that one looks real smart.
Moon discs FTW!!!

Didn't Broadspeed do a V6 turbo Capri? Maybe Essex rather than Cologne, but basically by sealing the carb into a box and pressurising the box... ...or something. Of course I could be completely wrong. It has happened before.
