This is a spare box I kept and got rebuilt for 'that project' and its not going to be happening now sadly or for the foreseeable, so here is a 3 rail 2000e gearbox, that has been rebuilt by my local gearbox specialist ( been trading for 50+ years and receipt can and will be given to the owner) and has had all new bearings and seals and gaskets, and been set up as per fords requirements. it turns freely and is ready to put oil in and run! I'm supplying 2x bellhousings with it, one has a bit of damage as can be seen but the threads still okay, and the other has a cut out by the starter back end? affects not a lot but worth mentioning. 15mm input shaft type so goes into xflows / pintos/ even zetecs! 2.972 1st gear as well the only thing I don't have is a spare gearstick, with a stick I borrowed from my one in the car, it as I know and felt selected gears perfectly. I'm asking basically what it cost to get rebuilt to free up some room etc.. £300 for it all, collection from kent/London ideally, but it could possibly be couriered nation wide I will have to find out costs. any more info pm me or get me on 07969696746    bellhousings   |

Been meaning to post this up but have just found the time to, saw this presumably dumped ? on Croydon road about 3/4 weeks ago en route parts collecting stuff for my Cortina.. such a shame had loads of notes stuffed under the wiper and was unlocked! amazed it wasn't towed away what with being on Croydon road! number plate is mint for the car (if you know you know!) and being a viva estate rare as hens teeth. no doubt it has gone by now?..shame.   |

I saw this en route to a job in south east London, Denmark hill to be precise. It was simply stunning IMO, in my mind its how I build cars Loved the way it sat, and the OEM wheels. Also had a really nice cream leather in it as well.   |

for sale a set of rare keystone klassics.these took ages for me to find but I have now found a set more fitting to my car hence the sale! super rare these are. complete with centre caps. they need some love, ive just not got the time anymore hence. the specs are ally centres and steel rims 13x5.5 3" backspacing 4x108/unilug fitting. I have taken a photo to show what else it may fit? but they do fit a ford for sure as I have tested. may fit other patterns as photo shows, but you would need a kind of spacer made to take up the slack? tyres are all old, but holding air fine. photos say it all really £140 the set, prefer collection from kent/London, but can be posted nation wide at cost of £40. any questions please ask, thanks      |

as above, got a new kent a2 cam, it is around 2/3 degrees out, and I stupidly thought I know what instead of buying a Vernier I will do it the old way and buy a dowel and slot the holes. tried punching it out with a drift but my drift broke . now I regret this option lol, but the dowel is a curse word to budge.
can I use a bit of heat and mole grips again ? any other tips as if you know a xflow cam, tapping it from behind is a pain because it is very close to the cam bearing journals (already scrubbed a bit but just on the edge and have gently filed it back..)
any help or should I just farm it out to a machine shop/engine builder?
thank in advance. always go with the lazy option in the future lol

Set of super rare appliance wheels. These are 7x13 in size deep dish suits any mk of cortina in my opinion. Backsapce measures 3 3/4" . These have been refurbished with a black fade in the centres . Rim tape is around the edges in the photos in case you were wondering. Ready to put tyres on and use! No centre caps sadly but these rarely come up and needs must i have to have a spring clear out. £350 the set. As above no longer needed , these fit pre crossflows and even seen them on imps and minis retro fitted, suitable for spares or even repairs . As far as i can see its missing a return spring , and the cover screws. £30 collect from kent or i can post it for an extra £10    |
