I boosted my mojo this weekend by purchasing a Lexus GS300
225bhp 305Nm of torques Silky smooth straight 6 5 speed AutoBox
Which will all get ripped out and shoved in the Rover...

I require a Lexus GS300
Body and interior condition doesn't matter.
I only need the engine, box and drivetrain to be in good condition as I'd like to throw it at my Rover P4.
Cheap as you like pleases. I live in the Midlands, so if it came from around there i'd love you even more...

Tiny little update In an attempt to possibly get her to RRG (I honestly don't hold out much hope, but you've gotta at least try) We all remember this big hole This was caused by a distinct lack of inner arch. I'm not talking a few small holes letting a dribble of rain in, i'm talking... Bad times! Still, it's all cut out now, so I can start letting fresh steels back in. First of many plates installed This one allows me to put the seat base back in, which shouldn't be difficult, covers a huge hole and brings back major mojo...

MOT passed, so now has a full 12 months
Advisories:
Rear anti roll bar droplink has play
I bought a pair of these a few weeks ago as I noticed a slight knock.
Rear driver side brake binding slightly
Ordered a piston kit as they're pence.
Parts will be supplied or hopefully fitted if I have chance.
So there you go, an indestructible 90's coupe with a full ticket
Make a buy

1997 Toyota Celica ST 1.8 25th Anniversary Edition - No. 220 of 225 I need a van so the Celica must go - sad times. It is what is is, a 90's Toyota that will run forever and will only increase in value as these are rock bottom now. This is the 25th Anniversary Edition, which means some extra bodykit, Celica branded Recaros (I think, they are definitely sporty buckets), a 'Carbon-Fibre' console and a sticker for the boot and stereo blank. There's also Air-Con, but it wants recharging. Exciting stuff, but hey, in a few years time when the prices rise it will make the odds... maybe... It actually says 25th Anniversary Edition on the logbook, so it cant be faked either. Howmanyleft.co.uk suggests there are 63 out of the 500 (250 silver and 250 black) left on the roads. Engine is strong, a previous owner decided an offensive induction filter was the way forward, so its err, growly for want of a better word. They also decided the standard exhaust was to peasant like and had a full PowerFlow stainless system made with a highflow cat. This is also offensive, but it doesn't drone which is good. I serviced it in the not to distant past, plugs, oil etc 17" Audi TT rims in black compliment the body surprisingly well. If it was me, i'd have the grinder out and knock a coil off, to make the union that little bit stronger. 7A-FE engine gives a healthy 35+mpg, less if you want to enjoy annoying everyone within a 4 mile radius with the exhaust. The body is rust free, though at some point in it's life someone has got friendly with a bollard or something and kissed it slightly resulting in a dent and scrape in the rear quarter. An easy fix. She is what she is; a car that will literally go on forever, costs pence to insure, does good mpg and honestly will only go up in value. The mot runs out in 15 days, bad timing on my part as I think it looks bad selling something with such a short test, but I am confident she'll pass £500 as is £600 with a fresh 12 months ticket

I HAVE PLANNING PERMISSION Got an email this morning, it's all gone through. I never mentioned the fact I got an email a few weeks back regarding the Catside proposal. The officer said it was nice and all, but it presented more roof to the right hand neighbour so could I just do a normal one? Chucked in some new plans, still the same size, but with a normal gable. This makes me happier as i'll have more roof height across the full width now. So yeah, I'll be building this
