this is the one, plain and simple.
4.11 We are proposing that for kit cars, compliance with the MOT emissions standards current at the date of registration will be required, despite the use of an older engine. In other words the current relaxation for emissions according to the age of the engine will no longer apply.

can hear washer pump, tried clearing jets. will work my way through the pipe work.
i'm guessing there is a filter on pump?

side lights fixed, took stupid led's out, normal bulbs fitted and they both work. bulb holders look like they have got a bit hot, anyone else had same problem?
also noticed headlights are led's, will see how these fare to whether i replace with normal bulbs.

at the moment i'm having concerns on how it got an MOT (MOT until 25 jan 19) as i've found a few faults with it that it should of failed on, has no front sidelights, washers not working at all, split driveshaft gaiter. these are just what i've noticed so far, checked bulkhead etc and all seems fine.

I like these a lot and have been keeping an eye out for one. Around here they are still quite pricey for a sub-starship mileage one. Ideally I want a black one standard without the wing and then I'd remove the Type R badges. cannot see the prices coming down much, if anything they are rising, even with high mileage(mine has 150k on it) about 500 left on road, people are buying them to break as well.

mine originates from glasgow when new. heres a few more pics of new car, in its life its had about 6k spent on it, thats without service items, tyres, etc. its got braided brake hoses, silicone coolant pipes, s2000 injectors, baffled sump, uprated shocks, lowering springs plus lots of other bits here and there, rebuilt gearbox, cambelt with water pump couple years ago, expensive clifford alarm. has had dyno run, 210hp at wheels, also its been to the ring in its life. there are some jobs i need to do, but it is usable. flat tyres from where it had sat for over a year. passed MOT, bit suspect on that.
