The pickup one is a p-shop. Can tell by the wheels as the light/shadow isn't quite right for the picture. That mk3 on hydros is epic tho!

I'm tempted to do some major mods on the Polo and get it sat like the red one but hard slammed. Would need the exhaust tunnel making about 3-4" higher and a tunnel adding so the exhaust ran over the axle, then a new fuel tank cut in half and some depth taking out of it, and the engine raising a few inches.

This is simply perfection in my eyes, just looks so right. So much work has gone into getting it to sit like that, looks hard as nails. Any idea what the wheels are? Wheels are Powertechs if i recall.

New to the forum. Just picked this up, 1.3 Ranger in lovely condition. Not sure if I should leave it stock or drop it by 40mm with some nice rims. Suggestions.....

Hmm... 3 pages and lots of comments and I've resisted pimping my Polo out here. Let's rectify that. ;D This is going to happen this year, I hope.

Liking this thread.
Hopefully will be adding some nice pictures of a clean, de-cluttered, wheeld and lowered breadvan at some point this summer. Battling to get the bloody thing roadworthy at the moment though.

^^ VW did produce it as a van, and I'm pretty sure up until a few years ago you could buy "van panels" from vw parts which you could replace your rear side windows with to convert it and it would look practically identicle. So could be either. Looks like the original vw stampings though so i don't think its a completely homegrown.

Nice to see my old bready getting so much love ;D The wheels are bcw powerthechs. to answer an earlier question it would of been driveable like that if it had the standard engine in it but the Sump on the afh is a lot deeper and 'kissed' the ground when dropped, but isn't that what laying frame is all about? Every story has a sad twist some where along the line tho...
