MMmmm-kay.
I just shoved the space saver onto the Cadillac and I have to say, they'd make neat front-runners. Now Other than "inflate to 60PSI" theres nothing I spotted on the tyre to suggest its not a regular and normal tyre. I know the ones I've seen on EU spec motors are plastered with "max 50 mph" and so forth.
Any reason we can think of I can't run a pair of them up front on a car as a budget way to get propper skinnies?

Currently on michelins which are expensive as fook. Now my mums 207cc has a 125 space saver (albeit in 16") Continental make some retro looking 125 space savers in 15s too. Only just came in from swapping wheels around to sort the puncture on my mums 207 so just seen this BUT they do say in large letters on the sidewall. TEMPORARY USE ONLY

Very scary tires - Different kind of rubber compound which has very little grip - and they need to be inflated to extreme PSI. Never f**k with space savers - Made driving my bug very vague indeed.

Also, an MoT fail (even if you have a matched pair on the same axle). Not allowed to run spacesaver/temporary tyres except as temproary.

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

Size is one thing, but don't abuse the load and speed rating on tyres or you will be risking a failure. Space savers are generally limited to 50mph (M rating I think), but I've seen a few rated to Q (80mph).
I like the thinking though...!
