In particular the 1.3 variety. I need to know about spares availability, panel availability, common problems, where they rot the worst, and of course how easy it is to upgrade the stopping handleing and engine etc. Basically everything you thinks relevant.
Hopefully going to look at one thats been "stored" in a garage for 14 years. Who know's what its gunna be like. We'll see i guess ;D

rust everywhere from what I remember. Someone told me that the front valance forms a crossmember closer and is thus structural. Basically an Avenger underneath but seemed to be more rot prone at the time. Parts like trim and panels very hard to come by now I'll bet.

OK. I've tried looking for an owners club but they don't seem to have forums that I can ask questions on.

Buy it. Buy it now, no matter what the cost. Panels are available from a number of sources. Will take any engine you wanna put in it, uses a standard four link back end, but it buy it race it thrash ti, far better than an escort for a fraction of the price.

Its very very cheap. I'll have a look what its like. I've got no experience at re-building cars so if I get it I've got the feeling it'll be a steep learning curve.

I'll certainly check it over. Only interested cos its local and extremely cheap Blown_Imp: can you not use the whole engine block out of a 930 but you have to get the crank machined to accept an imp clutch?

Ive already got a talbot 930 bottom end, its awsome with a stronger block, forged steel crank and rods, and the head is almost like a sport one. The compression is lower so better for turbocharging aswell J
