This place rocks hard, places like this need to be preserved from those who would destroy. These pics represent a tiny cross section of the stuff to be seen (and not touched.) Enjoy. My vans meeting for the first and as it turned out, last time. Appeared to be constructed from Iron...... Awesome armoured truck stencilled up. lovely merc barge Lovelier very odd merc camper. yes. oh yes. Just parked and left. Art. Landrulambce. The only angle I could get, had an awesom curvy windscreen. scenic. 80's. just breathe in that patina....

British. That Rangey was shortened and racer style, long time ago though. Dead road rocket. stuff. I dunno, looks like a toy I had once. Scary Alfa. Frasier. Dead Merc collection. Turd thing. mmmm plastic.... Future classic I reckon. This had EVERY accessory present and correct, including period water in the tanks..... Luxury model, every extra, I want it. Tat. Buttress. Think, prime minister, not Lock Stock. Something under canvas. Take you to the airport mister, I give you good price English. There was loads and loads more but maybe another day. James

Brilliant! I'm guessing on an old airfield somewhere on the south coast? Who? Why?
Hope it stays like that for many years.

My money is on an old quary or similar.
I'd love to see some shots of the building as well. I have a thing for our industrial herritage in decline...
There was a storage depot new Notts with like 200-300 classics in it. Soe had been there 20 years or more. They had a clear out a while ago of ones where people hadn't been paying their rent.

Places like this make me sad... you know in another 10 years most of that stuff will be rotted into the ground and it'll be showing up in one of the "rust in peace" threads...

^^Exactly!! The yard'll end up being broken into and most of the cars/buses/random vehicles will be vandalised and burned etc.

If you know where it is, keep it in the community, it's very friendly at the moment, people can leave stuff around and not have it touched, be a huuuge shame for that to go...
Some of the stuff is rotting into the ground, some of it beng rescued, although I left off a lot of the being rescued stuff as I didn't have the owners permission.

It's a popular place for 'urban explorers' and peoples visits can be found on several forums and websites, never knew of the cars etc though. Great find.
