RR Build Thread of The Year 2010 - Ooh, so many to chose from the housetruck is for me tho as it's so different! Most Anticipated RR Car 2011 - Hmmm Website Of The Year 2010 - I'm a bid sad and only use RR's and ebay. . . Best Blog 2010 - tbc Best Photo 2010 -  says it all for me. Thread Of The Year 2010 Just loved Volksangyl’s Commer Pics thread, went back to it time after time. Car Of The Year 2010 Gonna go for V8Chevette’s er, V8 Chevette. This was the car that brought me via Google to Retro Rides in the first place, and is a damn fine, tastefully midified motor to boot. RR Build Thread of The Year 2010 It’s a popular choice, I’m going for yoeddynz’s truly epic Housetruck. Most Anticipated RR Car 2011 For the sheer bloody mindedness and determination in the face of overwhelming rust, it’s gotta be Hairymels’s Sunbeam. Website Of The Year 2010 The consistently silly Sniff Petrol. Best Blog 2010 Don't really read any blogs, so can't really comment. Best Photo 2010 Almost impossible to narrow down, but I’m going to go for this one, ‘cos it's a fantastic car in a great location. And I love art deco architecture too…  RR Photographer Of The Year 2010 On the basis of the above, i vote Seth.Show Of The Year 2010 Didn't make it to any this year... Forum Person Of The Year 2010 For his part in the epic Ford Fairlane wagon save I vote Mystery Machine. Best Magazine 2010 Because I'm still buying it, Custom Car.Readers Other Modification 2010 Because I've had a couple of old boats too, Retrowagen’s cool little speedboat.

Do we have a date for awards night, couldn´t find anything in the events section? Unless anything is different from usual it will be at the usual Classic Cars night at the Ace which is the second Tuesday of the month. So should be 11th Jan. |

Thread Of The Year 2010 - just can't decide Car Of The Year 2010 - Nightmares Mk3 Cortina V8 estate/van, ok so it didn't make the shows, but its still my car of the year. RR Build Thread of The Year 2010 - Dez's Model A, cos it's just wonderful Most Anticipated RR Car 2011 - johnrh's Volvo 164 RS or sowen's Rover P6 V8, both amazing projects I can't wait to see finished. Website Of The Year 2010 - ebay, for still providing the occasional bargain Best Blog 2010 - not into blogs, too many build threads to read! Best Photo 2010 - this one from Butterz, simply because it will stay with me for the rest of my life! (though it is self whoring, sorry about that!)  RR Photographer Of The Year 2010 - tough, but going to go with Mystery Machine due to all the interesting and different shots Bruce has done this year. Show Of The Year 2010 - only one I made was RRG, though that would be my choice even if I'd been to them all. More difficult than ever this year, not been around as much as I'd like. Plus the forum is mega busy and full its hard to keep glued on a good subject. Its hard enough anyway to pluck at 365 days of variety, So My answers may be historical... Thank you to everyone that has nomintated... the flip side of me bitching about people nominating is that now I have to compile the polls and wish less stuff was in them ... Started the compilation today, so expect the polling booths to open in the next couple of days. Deadline fo final votes will be the first week of January at some point. Then we'll all head to the Ace Cafe in London the 11th Jan and give out some prizes,.. YAY!. |
