Love the new wheels! It's a great car this, John will probably want to buy it for a 3rd time! ;D As for the width - I think it's important to get it right, and if going narrower got it right, then that's worth so much more than just fitting as wide as possible. Would love to see it's booty on the ground, I think a level stance would make it complete. Nice work!

Thing is, the rears are still too wide to get any decent lows, they are just tooooo close to the arches. However much I love the look of the slots, I am looking into other cool wheels with tuck-and-slam friendly ofsets. Gutted is not the word, but I am not feeling the jackup look still

Yes on the machiney front, but alas, it won't stop the vibrations through the car. This is another of the killer points for the wheels for me. The car isn't hubcentric so I can't even get spigot rings made to center the wheels properly. Steve has got PhilJ polo suspension, so as per my PM to you, I will most definitly have the coilies you have chap Got my eye on some epic-retro slightly-J-flavour sensible-ofset wheels at the moment, so will see how this goes. Means car is GR8 4 SLAMMIN then..

if you have got the right wheel nuts and the wheels are properly balanced, spigot rings are not needed. I never had them and never had ANY problems with vibrations!
People think i'm crazy for running without some plastic rings in my wheels, but i don't see the advantage in that! (other then easy wheel placement if you have bolts instead of nuts!)

Well, I have sleeve nuts for my sleeve.. holes! Which, is why I am slightly worried about them. They SHOULDN'T vibrate or wobble. But they do. I am going to see if I can narrow it down to an individual wheel using the spare as a test wheel, but I am still not overly happy with it. I can't get the stance the car needs with them on.

Yeah with care and correct 'nuts spigot rings can be avoided. Personally I prefer to have them 'cos I'm lazy. Enough room to roll the arches ?

I don't want to roll them par-se, as I don't want to spoil the look of the car, plus that isn't a viable solution anyway because of the rear doors.

Started to make a Boso exhaust for the car. My main stiplulation is that is was the same diameter as the tailpipes so it didn't look odd when you looked at it. This resulted in 70MM pipework, which is epic in proportion.. Still very much a work in progress, but Dave (butterz) popped over and took some very epic photos which are here, no doubt he has more that will appear at some point! Will try to go back to work to finish it today EDIT: No idea why the pics didn't work, but Dave has posted them now so enjoy

dude, how much was your exhaust tube? (pm me if necessary) boso pipe is on the todo list for the senny this year Will dig the invoice out and let you know. What diameter do you need because I get 'welding bends' and 'welding straight' at trade I'd advise mounting the backbox solid to the car with a flexi joint just before it, as I think if I drove too much with them it would crack the rest of the system.
