	Not a fan of xenon on old cars, but that kinda works, somehow matches the side lights. Now repaint the plastic, lower it abit and add spacers, done! ;D

	Sweet shots there dude, i couldn't believe how much I liked the look of this car when i got it home, i thought this was gonna be a dash lights post! Somehow in the Metal it just works...or maybe it's the slots clouding my judgement!

	I meant the headlights, aren't they xenon, or xenon-look?

	They are mondern Wipac units but they take a normal headlamp bulb don't know what type the fact that the light is white is because the sidelights are superbright white LED capsule style bulbs.. I think the original lights were in the boot, (if they're not) Ak let me know and i'll sned em up to you

	I was expecting to hear something light related had broken on it!! Nice and bright, I guess with that car there's no chance of out running the headlights ;D lol

	Dude, the headlights are not on in any of the pics. To ne UK legal the turn signals have had the side light disconnected and this replaced with a small side light in the headlight. This has an LED bulb. The camera flatters their light output...

I asked my 'Everything by the book' MOT man about this. He said that there is no problem with amber running lights as long as you have white sidelights as well. I had halogen headlights with sidelights and indicator/running lights on 21/5w amber bulbs in clear lenses on my old Chevelle.

	On my yank motors i have always found the lights to be poo and not providing much of what they should at night even when upgrading to halogen lights. I'm guessing i need to make the seperate light loom and connect tirectly to the battery for better night ilumination?

It takes a feed straight from the light's existing loom, to a relay to take the power direct from the alternator. Can make the difference of about 5 volts to the headlights. 10.5V : 510 lumens 11.0V : 597 lumens 11.5V : 695 lumens 12.0V : 803 lumens 12.5V : 923 lumens 12.8V : 1000 lumens ←Rated output voltage 13.0V : 1054 lumens 13.5V : 1198 lumens 14.0V : 1356 lumens ←Rated life voltage 14.5V : 1528 lumens www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/relays/relays.html

	If your headlights are dim cos the wirings duff the whole car is probably suffering the same thing, rather than fit a kit to just fix the lights you might as well sort the whole thing out, its not that hard to re wire an old car, especially if you have the original loom to copy, you can add in wires for extras at the same time.
	Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.

	problem is the headlight switch on a lot of yank cars is (for reasons best know to the designers) a weird junction box for half the loom. These get tired and manky after a while and you don't get a full 12V through them anyway. To replace the switch is the only real answer and they can be like £80, £90, £100 or unobtainable at all. Even if you rewire the car running a dedicated feed for the headlights is FTW.
