Welcome to my project thread. This my track car. The spec should be; 200 bhp pinto, 330mm front brakes with ap 4 pots 909 coilovers, rose jointed rear beam, 17" imolas with kuhmo rally tyres (not road legal), roll cage, Cobra monaco buckets with harnesses, fully stripped out no sunroof base model shell, polycarb windows etc. etc. However, money is tight due to a lack of work so the cage, coilovers and beam are up for sale. But the car is booked on at oulton park on the 6th of november so it will be done one way or the other. I will be getting on with it this week

Nice car Looks almost just like my 1984 GL did when I bought it (same grill, bumpers etc.) I can tell your car is probably an 83 or 84 too, as it lacks the small 'spoilers' on the reaar side windows. (they were put there in 85 to help side-wind stability)

The car is a 1982 base model. The wheels came with a 1986 2.0is i bought for spares (very rare car), and will be going on my mk1 escort. The engine is supposed to be a 200 bhp full race engine that revs to 8k, but i will get it rolling roaded once up and running.

They need spacers on the calipers I believe.

I suppose we shouldn't moan, saves the same questions being asked time and time again.
