Obviously the answer is "no" but I couldn't help being heavily tempted by this beauty erm horror erm example... now you know why they call it orange peel. Firey death awaits. But I kinda love it.

I saw the title and hoped you meant the car rather than the engine. I wasn't disappointed.
As someone who is very good* with money, I say you should definitely buy this car.

I read the title and shouted NO!!!! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING MAN? as memories of mid 70's jelly-mold ugliness and general horrendousness came flooding back but once I saw the slot mags I started to warm to the idea I must be getting old

If it was £750 i'd be tempted, but at £1495 with paint like that i'd say no. Do the estates still have the explodey-tank?

If the stories are true it was the proximity of the tank to the rear of the car that gave them their firey-death reputation so I would imagine the wagon would be a safer option, however firey-death is a much underrated concept, think of the money you would save at the crem. With that paint it's gagging for some massive "outspan" lettering down the side, is it an urban myth that Ford dropped the name "Pinto" because it translated to "tiny penis" in another language?

I think it means tiny penis in mexico! Cool looking car, Id probably have to try and sort out the firey death possibility even just for piece of mind! Hell, any old car getting rear ended isnt gonna be fun but I think just because its been said so many times that they explode, Id probably move the tank!! As sais, its not a cheapy but it looks well good

Slotmags? Euro/yank styling and mechanics? £1500?
This car is more 'you' than anything you've ever had on the road whilst you've been on RR!
Drop the price and then drop the car. The way those arches are and the way those wheels sit would make for the most successful 'transform via droppage' before and after pics ever. I quite often recommend that people don't buy cars when everyone is getting carried away, but this time - BUY IT!

Yes. The ever present threat of an exploding tank will be like the 'spike on the steering wheel' theory, thus making you the safest driver on the road. Plus, Nazis love Pintos, and that's always a selling point, right? Chris

If you squint a bit at the number plate, it might read HAH BUY
Kinda sorta. Looks like a hidden message to me....
Paint is epic. Or did he use actual orange peel?
Looks great apart from front end. Was one on the bay last week, might still be there.

Fill the back bumper with this clobber... ...it's big enough. That way, you're disaster-proof. WIN!

is it an urban myth that Ford dropped the name "Pinto" because it translated to "tiny penis" in another language? It is an urban myth, but actually refers to Fiat's 'Punto'.
