............ ............. I know what it was, i think, forgive me though i don't know what it was in aid of really, some kind of simulation thing or summat rover donated one comfy looking grey seat for it. Its at Huddersfield hospital, and looks like it doesn't get used much but i could i could be wrong. In 91 (when the Sapph was new!) it looks like a nice example got sacrificed for whatever project it was. darn:(

All I can think of is...
"In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team."

When I was doing engineering at college about 10 years ago, all kinds of stuff used to get butchered. I can remember working on a Mk1 Polo, quite a few Mk5 Cortinas, Mk2 Cavaliers, and early Sierras, and an Austin A30 (although that wasn't for messing with, a proper job was to be done on that). Back then they were worth about 10p so nobody minded (a lot of people still wouldn't mind!). We also used to turn some of the Sierras and Tinas into Robin Hood Lotus 7 reps. Happy days...

Aaaghh Don't make me go back to that smelly old ward again, i think my grumpy old man is discharging himself ASAP cos the fat nurses are being horrible to him! It is very small, i was convinced it was chevette, but could be a mk1 Cav, I'll ask my dad if he's seen it on his way to the bog....

I’m gonna ‘put my tackle on the chopping block’ and say its defo a manta/cav/ascona, I’m fairly certain. I was thinking Ascona....the door looks Manta-esque, but Manta doors are pretty long and I don't think they have the frame 'round the window.
