Well, that's a nice end to this little saga. Got messed around on eBay (once again ), by people bidding just for something to do. I was just about to re-advertise it when I received an email and then subsequent phone calls from a guy from the London Motor Museum.
I was a little sceptical at first, but the guy was as good as his word and cash turned up followed soon after by a transporter to take the little car to its new home. Apparently, they were looking for some quirky modern stuff and this was one of the cars they wanted!
So, a big thanks to Elo from the LMM and just the last couple of pics I took.....
(on Zoe's Potatobucket account, as mine got fried after 25000 views last week! All my pics should be back up again next week)
Right then; I'd better get on with some proper work now and push on with my Volvo project.
I just hunted this out after it popping into my head during a conversation with a colleague - read through all 12 pages again and my hat is still firmly doffed to you Joe - properly spectacular transformation Deserves a cheeky bump..
Just read this through this and missed it first time around. Crakin little project and well done to joe for even having the idea in the first place, nevermind getting on and doing it. Hope it has a good spot in the LMM. Cheers for the read joe.
