i finally got round to cleaning the benz today. The plan was to also get it on the black steelies, and get the mexican rug in the back. Moving towards a more custom/rod influence. However, i now cant decide which looks best. I'm not as sold on it as i thought i would be. Your thoughts?? Shiny hubcaps Black Steels

I voted shiny hubcaps, without them it looks like some kind of Botswanan taxi!

I don't think your car suits black steels. So I would go for caps

Black steelies all the way!! I know i'm outnumbered & not for the 1st time, but the steelies help to accentuate the lowness!

Without the caps it just looks like they've fallen off to my eyes. If you painted the wheels a colour to match or contrast with the bodycolour and added trim rings it'd be cool though.

One more vote for the hub of love here.
As the song says 'Some cars do, some cars don't, some cars look better on their steels and some cars don't'

I love those merc caps, but I wonder what your merc would look like on body colour steels the mental image I have looks or how about shelling out on some moon discs for a salt flats influence?

In my eyes, old mercs have hubcaps that are nice, because they don't try looking like some fancy alu wheel, instead, they look like what they are, nice and shiny hubcaps! Roll with them i say. Oh, and whitewalls. Definatly whitewalls
