Yeah its nice. Tidy. It reminds me of the the time I sooo almost bought one for £1795 out of the Trader - Yorkshire in 1998, I thought it was a bit overpriced as I was a poor Student, Bought a Ratty XR2 for £500 instead, good job or I would have possibly wrecked it back then.

This car always makes me desperate for a mk2 escort! It sits so right and the wheel choice just makes it!

Nice car, but plenty of other nice MKIIs out there too. Let's spread the love around.

I like it, but, it kind of looks a bit under wheeled to me. I think it has gone a little too low profile with the rubber, so it makes the overall diameter too small. IMHO is all.....

I think thats the only crit from me too, I was looking at it at the Pod and that was niggling away at me despite looking so clean. The stance and wheels transform it much more than the 4 spokes shown above ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png) , just a bit more tyres!

Budget build by Dave mostly done on a driveway too which makes it that much more impressive, especially as hes a student and not in the profession. There are some nice touches too that think slightly outside of the usual "Ford Escort" box. that revs one isnt around anymore it was painted bright orange and had some rimstock wheels if I remember rightly The car is still about, somewhere in Norfolk IIRC and is going to be rebuilt. I think its stripped and was up for sale a while ago but the guy decided to keep it and crack on with the rebuild. From memory the work REV's, or the company that done the work for them, was pretty substandard. This car is also on Turbosport..

I think it looks good with the small rubber plus it would raise it too much with bigger tyres and I imagine he has the same problem as me and he's already wound down as much as possible so couldn't just lower it more to counteract the bigger profiles...
I absolutely love this thing
