T25 wheel questionqwerty

I'm buying some 14" merc wheels of an old merc. Don't know what they're called but they look a bit like VW montreals aka Bottle tops. I've been told they will fit is this true? The lad who's selling me them has told me that they've been machined to fit on as they're is a couple of bolts or something on the T25's hub that normally get in the way is this true?
Sorry for the general Vaugeness of this post but any help is greatly appreciated.

I had 17s on my T25, but I didn't have to machine anything to clear any bolts. I did have to redrill all the bolt holes (actually, I got someone else to do it, but might have well done it myself as he made such a hash of it!) because VW use thicker studs than Mercedes. I also used adapters on the back to solve the problems with stud length. Most of the details are here: pages.zoom.co.uk/rmad/Bus.htm

you need to drill the holes out a bit for the studs. you'll need longer bolts for the front, and longer studs for the rear you'll also need spacers. It costs a lot to put alloys on a wedge , adaptors are easier, and you can get porsche alloys for very little. I've got the same alloys in 15" with great rubber if you want them. £70 for five?

Apparently they've been machined to fit. The holes look as if they've already been drilled. So I need longer bolts and spacers?

one set is bad enough, why would i want any more ?? £ notes only on the springs, 70 of 'em. Not cash rich at the moment, otherwise I'd of had em by now. You've got a reputation as a bit of a wheel dealer , everytime I speak to/see you you've got another set for sale . If I wasn't so local to you, I'd have posted em on "other" forums, but I don't want to snatch a sale from you, so once you sell them, let me know and I'll get mine out the shed and on the forums.
